I've not had this experience. They're not perfectly spread across all slots but I don't have just 1 or 2 slots that get consecutive pinnacles or the majority of pinnacles. I'm talking about Pinnacles for a variety of activities, not just one repetitive grind. Maybe that's the difference.

2 RepliesThis is one of those things that can’t be verified because the aggregate data evens out. As a long time player I’ve had several runs many times over. So frustrating.

4 RepliesBig part of problem this season especially is there is NO primary weapon in the dungeon to drop and there is NO class item available to drop in the dungeon or SEASONAL activity. So yeah everything is weighted in the worst way. Not to mention how terrible the UI has been at identifying what actually drops pinnacle gear and if the game will actually drop it as pinnacle level… multiple times my pathfinder has eaten my pinnacles… just makes me less inclined to play.

1 ReplyRan the VH dungeon 3x with a buddy, he got 8x energy weapons for pinnacles in a row... while I got nothing but armor and 2 weapons (I only ran for pinnacles 1x because I only use one character). With the pinnacle grind, I always feel that I get to a point where I just keep hitting the same slot repeatedly... then once I get over that, every pinnacle lands in the right slot to finish it off. Kind of annoyed that they brought back the pinnacle grind this season without giving us the ability to choose the slots for the drop (or have the auto drop in the lowest slots). I understand that they wanted to return the feeling of progression back into the season. But, there is no progression if you are stuck on one drop in a specific slot and cant get that. Its as though they still havent learned from the "forever 29" issue back in vanilla D1.

That must be why some people hit the max power within a week, and that must be why I've only gotten 2 dupe pinnacles so far. It definitely couldn't be random or anything.
