Nova Bomb and Thundercrash doing SIGNIFICANTLY more damage than a super that requires a crit is stupid.
Why Golden Gun is outclassed by nova bomb is completely beyond me. If precision is not heavily rewarded people will not use it. This is backed up by data of the day one/contest mode dungeon. Almost every team was Warlock Warlock Titan or Titan Titan Warlock. Favoritism at it's finest.

while i do think that nighthawk goldie got GUTTED and SHOULD do more damage, it definitely should not be one of the higher damage supers. it’s the fastest super to use in the game and (honestly) does not require much time to line up a shot. last season all you would see on boss encounter farms etc. were asking for nighthawk goldies because of how ridiculous their dps was with still hunt and apex. it was annoying not being able to join LFG as a warlock simply because of my class. nova bomb is the only high burst damage option that warlocks have (needlestorm is i consistent), and t crash is a lot more risky to use than any form of goldie

3 RepliesThundercrash requires you to launch towards a boss which currently most raid bosses are still taking around 60% of hp off on normal. You then have to run back to the dps spot which can easily cost multiple shots worth of damage. On average 3-5 gl shots or 1-2 rocket shots. On the other hand nighthawk just point and click most bosses have absolutely large crit points. The only reason tcrash is working is the fact this new dungeon boss only deals around 40 stomp damage at a base and the fact there isn't really a "Dps" spot since you need a well or restoration x2 to generally be able to stand in a spot.

1 ReplyIt’s honestly more terrible then that if you think about it Let’s take the celestial GG and put it on the normal solar subclass the best it has is higher damage reduction thanks to the knock ‘em down aspect But prismatic outdoes it thanks to a few fragments like the one that increases damage on targets affected by a darkness debuff take more damage by light abilities ontop of the fact it needs to be radiant to get the most damage out of it then put the fact all your dps is gone if you miss meaning all that set up work is for nothing. Vs nova bomb which do more damage and can block damage and t crash and while I get the “high risk high reward” but they have an easier time to hit their target

1 ReplyI think Thundercrash deserves to out damage Golden due to the risky nature of the super. I find it hard to see why Nova Bomb deserves to do more damage than Golden Gun. That being said I can accept it. However I find the fact that using Golden Gun with Star Eater/Nighthawk and STILL needing Radiant to barely surpass certain Base supers is ridiculous. I don’t mind if Golden Gun deals less damage than Nova but this gap to WAY too big. Golden Gun feels practically useless with a damage exotic because its base damage is so low. It needs a 20 to 30% buff to its base damage.
