Why? I get contest being a bit busted for the second encounter but rn there's really no use in playing hunter without it

Bump. Only having a Hunter and wanting to do an all Void run….

4 RepliesBecause they made a funny boss that splits into a bunch of balls. All these balls share the boss’s health pool, but take individual damage. You can do funny damage to these balls without tether. If tether was added, every ball would take this funny damage multiplied by 10. That’s too funny for the game and it laughs so hard it crashes

13 RepliesThey also entirely broke cespers encounters this week so now its unbeatable half the time. Twice now we had the final boss at 10% health and had carriers stop spawning. This is why people are leaving the game, they cant do ANYTHING right w/o 5 steps backwards.

Had a similar issue with an infinite ignition build. Popped one incinerator snap and bam game went on strike. It’s definitely a technical issue with how the health is handled. The joys of a p2p game

3 RepliesI literally watched someone use it on the mid-boss today so it can't be completely disabled. Funnily enough D2Team responded to that tweet because it illustrates WHY it got disabled. They dropped SO MANY frames that the game was basically moving in slow-mo because they tethered all those servitors all at the same time lol.

Because tether crashes the game when used inside vespers

1 ReplyMy guess is there is a technical problem buried somewhere. Yesterday I used stasis titan on the second encounter…and it almost crashed from all the small damage/shatter instances. In one moment the bosses health was a little under half and then all of a sudden it was gone. Now imagine a tether in all of that 🫠

Because anything that can help you BIG TIME is always gonna get nerfed/disabled
-
6 RepliesYou know it would crash the second encounter as well as I do… it’s almost like they play tested it prior to releasing content. 😂😂

8 RepliesCorrect, its disabled due to a bug with it having a high chance of causing guitar errors. Funnily enough though, they forgot to disable it in master
