I really miss having them be able to drop randomly in the wild. That always added some excitement mundane activities.

I have no new exotics from last season or this season. I thought bad English for me. But at least now I will actually get them.

Agree It was fun to go into a lost sector -30 and get rewarded for it. What even have them now?

It's a trade off - he gets rank, you eventually get targeted access to exotic armor (although weapons would also be nice). But don't worry, Bungie's 'giant step back' program will be in full swing soon and you'll be getting the old Rahool giving you blue gear for your prime engrams before you know it...

5 RepliesI saved exotic engrams on my main, then ran the weekly exotic engrams on all 3 characters. First 6 I just cashed in and then switched to focusing It was worth it for me, first roll was awful but then my second roll was excellent. It’s a killer exotic and I have a perfect build with it. I’ll be using it a lot over the next 4 months so it was totally worth it.

I hit up Xur, Season Pass and Ritual activities to reset him so I could unlock the new armor on his focusing page. Yeah, if you have no exotics from last season you have to play to unlock the new armor. It's not all bad though, you get vendor materials from him as a trade.

1 ReplyI love it, I’m finally able to get all the exotics now. Before I couldn’t get them because of the rng of those lost sectors. So please Bungie keep our new way of obtaining exotic’s the same.

It does give me a reason to play the ritual playlists besides the bright dust. I would have liked to have a reason to run final shape lost sectors though....

Rahool getting exotics was good. His rank up or loyalty card or prestige or whatever it is that gets you exotics you don't have with an exotic engram and exotic cipher.. really is the kicker. (the 4th page) For most players, new, casual.. those who have no clue where stuff is at.. didn't care for lost sectors.. these exotics add value to the rest of the game and it was a smart move by Bungie to enable that for the whole player-base. Haha.. it actually makes me intrigued to try some master lost sectors.. with my new gear. With that said I've contributed tons of exotic engrams and not to that exclusive 4th page yet this episode (close).. but it just started and something to look forward to as exotic engrams do drop. And no some people do not have resources to spend on direct focusing until that 4th page. -
