another annoying nerf to rahool. it was completely unnecessary to nerf rahool. it drains your resources to nothing for zero reason.
this entire expansion has been trash.
i hope datto has fun “talking to his buds” because this is garbage

Datto literally said he didn’t like the rahool reset.
-
LOOOOL! datto also said that consecration is “broken” and that he presses one button and an entire room dies. he’s suggesting it be nerfed. datto was consulted and takes pains to tell us he was consulted on stream about nslaught and they way the game plays right now. he might not like the rahool nerf but he’s okay with everything else.
-
He has a point. If one ability is so good that nothing else is viable, it should be nerfed. That’s why well was nerfed, so other warlock options could be run.
-
he would be right if his baby game platform worked the same on consoles as it does on pc. it doesn’t. datto is playing pc baby game then complaining about how easy everything is. the game should not be balanced around datto or pc players. maybe a way can be found to nerf pc players so they can shut up about how easy they have it. something tells me that based on what happens when damage was tied to frame rate and many of them began lowering their frames that any sort of neef won’t work for pc players because they don’t actually want a nerf.

Edited by Jalapeño, Guiding Mind: 10/10/2024 5:28:18 PMWhat do you mean? It’s the same game just different inputs. They’ve fixed most frame dependent things, and other than that it’s identical. I don’t see how playing on pc makes the game any more or less difficult. Most likely it’s just perceived that way to you because they are actually good at the game. Edit: it’s mostly a knowledge game, and because they’ve been doing this for a long time. And going to pre-emptively say macros have been stated to be a bannable offense so that isn’t good reasoning either.
-
no. the platforms are different and pc players have an advantage. in fact i’d say it is a different game on pc than it is on console. that’s why say one raids you won’t see any consoles in the top 100. pc players use macros, they have a frame rate advantage and according to top pc players they can hardly die unless they jump off the map. console players need 3rd party devices to do what pc players can do. that’s considered cheating. pc players are playing baby game according to datto and saltagreppo
-
Or it could just be that pc players devote more time and effort on average so they hold higher spots on the leaderboard. Do you play on PC or console? I play on both and I can tell you that there is no tangible difference besides input. Also, as I stated above, macros are also considered cheating so 🤷♂️. I’m done wasting time on this as you obviously didn’t read my response.
-
pc is still baby game and macros even simple ones for movement or gameplay are still cheating. i read your comment but i’m adding emphasis. be well.
-
I said they were cheating!

What nerf to rahool?
-
you have to expend pretty much all your upgrade materials to rank up rahool. last time around you were able to do it with engrams alone and it wasn’t nearly as bad as it is now.

Its just twice. Save those exotic engrams. -
Same as last season pretty much. 6000 rep to reset. 150 per straight up decryption, 250 advanced, 500 precision... So basically 40 x 150 =6000 with no materials spent. Or spend some golf balls to speed it up a bit Pretty long for sure though...shouldn't reset every season.
-
nope. last time i spent saved up engrams and just got the exotics from work i’d already done. this time i had to spend all glimmer and materials to do the same thing. and the exotic is trash. that annoyed me even more. yet that is subjective
-
You can still rank him up with just engrams. I had a bunch of exotic engrams saved in the previous season pass and was max rank in like 5min. Took a ton if glimmer though cause I was focusing specific exotics but it is possible.
