1 ReplyBungie listening to the 5% is gonna ruin this game.

10 RepliesEdited by Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 10/1/2024 7:05:14 PMThey clearly don’t want to do crafting anymore. They’ll probably get updated at some point but they won’t get crafting. Probably just some kind of attunement that isn’t very good like onslaught. The future is looking kind of grim after the stream today. Who’s ready for the game to become a job? Not me….

4 RepliesIf everything is craftable, there is no loorlt to chase. Just red borders. So yes, it's very good for a looter shooter to have some loot to grind for

Half way there mate

4 RepliesGoS weapons are craftable! Check the TWID today :D Im so happy !

I know they're gonna add an unlock for a chance for extra perks in the columns, but honestly, they should just make it guaranteed to have multiple perks like it was back in D1. Stop. Adding. RNG.

Edited by Zyrix: 10/2/2024 3:34:58 AMPerfect example was onslaut, great game mode and I played way more during that time, but after it was done i only got 3 rolls i wanted, more than half are still not the ones i want, and i was burnt out and remembered how much i hated random drops. If this is what the future is I'm out...

They are killing craft weapons. Seem they are focus on enchantments perks better than craft weapons. I hate rng perks that I can’t get for god rolls, it same thing like Onslaught weapons.
-
They are going to mess this up for sure… The correct way would be keeping seasonal weapons craftable plus some “extremely good weapons” RNG dependent.. For example the solar sidearm this season could be non craftable… This will make some people happy cuz they can afford spending 50 hours a week gaming but for others even 2 hours a day is a stretch. This Bungie culture of pleasing hardcore gamers would doom this company financially for sure… time will tell

4 RepliesFunny everyone says crafting killed the game I guess throwing their heads at the wall grinding mindlessly GMs & raids is the idea of fun when the reality is, crafting pointed out how samey weapons are between one another and the activities that we have in game are mindless filler or do everything in its power to limit expression. I'd play the game more if the game itself is fun and respects my time destiny's rng and current direction as far as the devs are pushing does not.

1 ReplyIMO - if any weapons should be craft-able it should be raid and dungeon weapons. If any of them shouldn’t be it’s the seasonal and world weapons.
-
As explained already, crafting guns is shifting to more of a catch up mechanic for older weapons that have fallen out of the meta. Guess which guns fit that bill…
Old raid gun getting craftable versions with new perk options is still on the table.
3 RepliesWhat did they say regarding crafting? I must've missed it.

Yeah if this is true that they are going to move away from crafting, especially before Garden got a refresh, I'm going to pull my hair out. I have saved up almost all my harmonizes since they came out, saved up lost Mementos and I have been waiting for a Garden refresh ever since DSC got one. Every single season or livetsream I hope they at least mention whether they plan to or not but no, just silence. And now it looks like they won't do it. This is all I wanted: Prophet of Doom with Threat Detector and Opening Shot and Ancient Gospel with Slide Shot and Opening Shot. That's it. That's my endgame. Best looking guns ever and they are so close to being really good.

26 Repliesprobably beucause they noticed crafting is killing the game

1 ReplyI just hope they update the perks I would grind my brains out for a tier 5 heal clip Incandescent Vision
-
2 RepliesIt's just for this upcoming episode since the activity will have a very targeted attunement system. There's no point in chasing red borders if you can basically pick which roll you want as an activity reward.
