Ergo Sum catalyst
Hello Bungie, since there are big changes happening is it possible to make a change on how to get the ergo sum catalyst? It’s already difficult to coordinate with a 6 players fireteam but with 12 players is insane. The limited revives and questionable “internet issues” are enough reasons to back out of trying to get the catalyst. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Ignore the fact you CAN play it with 12 and just play it with 6. The damage scales, I did this with a team of randoms and it was a struggle. I then did it as a team of 5 friends and we breezed through it, honestly its so much easier with less players.

I kind of agree that it makes no sense being in this lagfest. Invisible players, lag spikes. We couldn't even dunk the light in the last mission I played. Lagged out so bad players just kinda stood around for a few ninutes waiting for the lag spike to stop and catch up. Teleporting enemies and players. Just put it in the pale heart pathfinder or lost sector. Even a co-op mission would suffice. Bungie's servers are so garbage anymore. I remember being able to instantly load into the tower. Now it just sits loading and loading and then everyone is invis. Had to play starcrossed mission with invisible weapons. In all the years I have played, I haven't seen it this bad since launch and the constant errors of doom for over a year.

5 RepliesWord! Despite being somewhat of a nuisance I accepted that the exotic class item was stuffed behind a friend-wall. Thought it was unnecessary and would make it more complicated than it had to be for some players - but accepted it. Having ergo sum behind a 12-man activity - one that is laggy af to play - makes no sense though. Do people even still have 11 active friends in Destiny who also are willing to make room for it when needed? So you need a big clan or LFG - in which case you probably won't know the people and they could have just added MM to it instead. So once again it comes back to them adding inconvenient activities but no MM.

There are videos on the fight that will give you pointers on how not to die. I will be running it soon. Before people complain about youtube most boss fights in wow have videos to help you progress.
