Pathfinder doesn’t allow ppl to focus play an activity of their choice. U guys should have a line for PvP gambit and vanguard. Right now I have to play like 10 games of PvP to complete it. I rather play another mode then PvP. You guys probably wanna take a relook at it

The feedback over the years has been overwhelming - Pve don’t like PvP or gambit - yet here is a track that combines both to complete a thread… It’s complete BS and should be called out…

1 ReplyOnly thing I don't like about them is how we have to navigate to get to them. It should be a lot quicker than it is.
-
2 RepliesWe should be able to collect the xp from our completed nodes regardless of pathing. The connection part should only be for those hunting the engram. I am so annoyed that I am completing bounties and I can't collect them because I haven't done an unrelated bounty right next to it.
-
1 ReplyShould be 1 pathfinder for each activity. I ain’t playing gambit ffs
-
1 ReplyI hate this more than anything in this game. Grinding pvp then oh get 10 grenade kills without dying. Yeah sure let me just come to a grinding halt and go do a strike real quick. I hate it.
-
Just get rid of it and go back to bounties. At least then we can choose what we want.
-
Edited by YATM: 7/16/2024 12:36:53 AMI think having location based Pathfinders like the one in the pale heart is the way to go. But yeah, the regular activities Pathfinder sucks.
-
Pathfinder should be in quests tab. It is not a destination or play mode. It is a new quest menu. Quests tab needs updating. It is currently a confusing group of daily, weekly, seasonal, game mode, etc list of goals for prizes . Pathfinder is actually a quest tree leading to a prize. Bounties typically have prizes after each competition. Bounties themselves really have not changed within pathfinder. The frustration lies in poor wording or ability for game to register the hit with the bounty.

1 ReplyThis is making me want to quite D2.Cant get pinnacles.
-
An easy, equitable change would be separate pathfinder for each ritual playlist and/or allowing players to re-roll the board if they don't like pathways.
-
2 RepliesI haven’t played since I beat the legend campaign weeks ago and I gotta say, I agree with this. First, why is it so effin complicated to get to, hidden in the corner of destinations there, and you get a Pinnicle. There’s better ways to spend my time. This game is one long chore now.

2 RepliesThere should be a pvp and pve pathfinder.
-
6 RepliesThere should be a path for each core playlist. One for Battlegrounds playlist. One for Crucible. One for Gambit. Bungie stated that one of the intentions of pathfinder was to increase player agency. It would have been better if they had been more honest and said it was solely designed to push people into multiple playlists.
-
I actually like pathfinder a lot. Though I also play a bit of everything in the game, so maybe that's why. At least for me, I very much disliked the bounties system for the weekly rewards and prefer this method. If they do end up condensing paths in the future I think it should be comprised of 2 sets. Vanguard pathfinder would have pve and gambit related, PvP would have well... pvp(duh) and also some of gambit tossed in. The reason for mixing gambit into the other two is Gambit is Gambit and with the low player counts over there they most likely will not have very many people playing its own dedicated rewards path. Though as the system stands I enjoy it. But that's just one players opinion.

1 ReplyI've done zero gambit or crucible this season and have completed Pathfinder numerous times. They fixed this after the first couple of weeks.

Edited by Guardian, Archon Of Light: 7/15/2024 4:27:00 PM"Bungie, please do something about Bounties, I am sick of doing bounties for everything!!!" One expansion later........ People get what they asked for
-
bounties are better then pathfinder because bounties are normally xp+ each node in pathfinder is only xp. Secondly there is no clear path for pve or pvp
-
Good thing there no power leveling needed anymore and pinnacles don't mean a damned thing. Leave you leveling and frustrations to some other smuck.
-
Not to mention one of the nodes requires you to literally play 20 games, unless you win every game of Crucible which doubles the progress to 10 games which is still insane. Other nodes take between 1 to 3 games at most to complete, so they really need to rework it properly. It has potential but it is terribly undercooked.
-
The sad thing is that the first one of this week only needed the last 2 nodes swapping position to give a path for PvE. Seems whatever algorithm they are using to generate it needs a little work. 1 pathfinder is the last step in getting to GR8 which is as far as I go these days by choice but I'll wait to get a PvE path rather than wasting my leisure time in an activity I dislike.
-
Worst idea Bungie has had in years. Oh wait :/
-
Don't bother, even if you finally complete it you get a duplicate pinnacle in a slot you don't want.
-
I don't understand why they just didn't keep bounties in the game and introduce pathfinders too. Like pathfinder feels ok in the pale heart but when they did it for the ritual section thats where it fumbled hard. Ain't no way I'm gonna be forced into a gambit match.

1 ReplyIncredibly irritating when I have to go play gambit for a stupid pathfinder node.
-
W9nt happen. Then it'll show the real numbers of where their pvp is actually at. Just like the whole play, how you wanna play, but also, there are 6 weapons to stun champions, and you need to run at least 2 of those or these 2 supers, but still play how you wanna play.
