In these last two weeks, I've been using the new fireteam finder to hook up with others going for pinnacles, doing the final checkpoint of a dungeon, etc., and it's mindbogglingly inefficient.
When I find a group and 'apply', there's no way to see what's going on with my 'application', and I just have to wait. And when the team is presumably overfilled, I can't really see when it's not valid anymore, or sometimes it'll say full. Is that full with me? Or without me? And my app disappears at some point. Does that mean it was rejected? And I can't move around in the menu or into my inventory or map or anything without presumably resetting things and removing my application?
I've spent over an hour trying to get into the final checkpoint of Warlord's ruin with no idea as to whether I was being 'considered' for joining a team or not, or if this clunky mess is even working at all. It's almost impossible to join groups without wasting tons of time refreshing and watching a countdown and doing nothing at else.
Looks like I won't be doing the Warlord's Ruin pinnacle today. This is pretty ridiculous.

Edited by MasterProtector: 6/23/2024 12:42:33 AMNot to dampen your experience but I’ve done dozens of dungeons, pvp, gm, and other activities and even raids and completed every single one with just about every team I grouped.

If you've had two rough experiences make your own posts. People kicking other people from their loots enough to make me never want to join other people's fireteam finder ever.

I don’t bother applying. F them It’s always better to create your own. I’ve had better experiences that way. No application necessary.

It's very slow. Often, the post will be up for hours with no one joining. They should have them time out after an hour

It’s why I flat out REFUSE to use their garbage fireteam finder. And they probably know themselves it’s trash and it’s why they still have the legacy fireteam search on the app. If you want to get something done use that.

It should at least let you apply to multiple posts without asking you to cancel any of them. In game lfg imo it's a qol feature that the game needed for the longest but was implemented by people that don't play this game or don't lfg, ever.

Make your own post.
