The only valid complaint I hear is about how much they charge us for pieces of the game. But that's business. Take it or leave it. I don't care about that complaint because I make enough money to not care. The game at launch was not filled with QoL fixes like loadouts, character customizing, Transmog, Fireteam Finder, currency optimization, vault in orbit, bounty grab/ complete in orbit, instant sparrow, favoriting cosmetics/emotes, and more because INSTEAD THEY MADE A HELLUVA GOOD GAME with amazing visuals, engaging PvP and PvE gameplay, activity modifiers, enigmatic mysteries and puzzles, and emotionally charged storylines and characters. Name another game that has even come close to doing all of that at launch! THEN...they create new stuff. Every. Single. Year. New Seasonal events. New Dungeons. A New game mode every single season. A New ritual game mode in Gambit. Dozens of New and interesting Exotics. New locations. Tuned New player experience. Reprised raids. Enhanced mods for armor 3 different times. Constant weapon tuning. Two New subclasses! Improved fidelity on console. Cross save. Cross play. Accessibility options. The list goes on and on. What they do, and have done, is nothing short of mastery of the craft. Bare bones? Bring the game infrastructure into the 21st century?! There are a slew of games that mimic what Destiny does well and they fail hard!! Bungie has been the definition of success in gaming in the 21st century. One of the biggest and by far most successful gaming companies in the world invested 3 billion dollars in them...which proves my point!! I'm shocked that there are people who spend time in forums of games they hate and attempt to trash it...but it is what it is. Salty Sallies and Debby Downers the lot of ya. Purely pathetic and ignorant commentary running rampant through social media. You are all blessed to be living in an era of the best it's ever been, and you complain.
