How do yall play PvP. What Builds do yall main?
What Exotic weapon and Armor do yall main in PvP? Are any of yall off meta players, or do you like to play for consistency? Do yall play aggressive, or passive? Are yall Support or Duelists. Do you prefer Team Play or are yall more 1v1 players?
I like to think I am an Aggressive Duelists that plays well in a team but not so much in 1v1s. I usually run Arklock with Tranversive steps. I often pair this with Cryostasia (Yes, I know that I am the scum of the Earth) and a Pulse like the BXR or Scalar.

My current favorite build is strand hunter with cyrtarachne's facade. I use the fragment to make tangles when I have woven mail with the double grapple nades and whirling maelstrom. Necrochasm is surprisingly good in that build too, it lets you play pretty aggressively. The gameplan is fly around with grapples and get woven mail, get a single kill, and throw a tangle at the nearest enemy. The whirling maelstrom does a lot more than most people think it does.

1 ReplyI’m a pvp main. I main titan or warlock, hunters are just too easy for me so I don’t play them because they take zero skill to use so I find it boring. In my builds I’m always thinking of consistency and neutral game. Not “if you get a kill this happens then activate this then bla bla bla” I don’t spec for intellect at all I only think about grenades, strength and recovery, resilience. Warlock exotics transverse and if I want to switch it up I use chromatic fire. Titan dune marchers or one eyed. Guns as of lately crimson/felwinters or igneous hammer/ astral horizon.

1 ReplyKhepris Horn Strand Titan with Into the Fray & Drengr’s Lash. If I need to snipe I’ll pair it with an smg or sidearm if I need to shotty I’m running Conditional F. with an igneous hammer (adept) with celerity. Above everything is timing and cadence of your pushes. Sometimes you get bot teammates sometimes you get other gods. All that’s consistent in each game is you.

Team or solo doesn't usually matter, although I get more 1's because I'm usually more aggressive than most of my team. Exotic weapons: Currently Condtional or Chaperone for the most part. Also enjoy Necrochasm (used as an SMG), Ace, Thorn after its insane buff, and a few others. I typically roll in with near-full inventory so as to have options. As for exotic armor, it's usually PK's/Dunes or Stompees and I build for gunplay, not ability spam, so heavy on gun mods. I just like to push gunfights and force engagements. My KD suffers, but I get to play the actual game more than a lot of people because I refuse to sit still.

3 RepliesDecent or high mobility on hunter and Warlock, high resilience on titan, max recovery on all 3. Dunemarchers for titan, stompees or wormhusk for hunter, ophidian aspect for warlock. Hc, pulse, auto with shotty or sniper

9 RepliesBuild? Imagine being a build crafting clown who spams op abilities in pvp. Smh. I SHOOT MY FRICKIN PRIMARY WEAPON AT MY ENEMIES. So cringe that this community constantly has to crutch on "builds" for everything. Aim has become a meaningless side skill in this game. Destiny was so much better when it didnt have all this build crafting ability spam garbage.

Void warlock, aeon safe exotic, last perdition pulse with kill clip and imperial evidence sidearm with harmony. I never take off death bringer I have like 12k on it in pvp. 100 resil, 100 int, 100 recovery. Endless child of the old gods being deployed. My favorite way to pvp.

1 ReplyI launch a crucible game mode, then hand it to my 5 year old. Repeat 9 times through the week, obtain exotic engrams. Do not repeat until the following week.

My preferred play style has never really changed. Movement exotics usually, very aggressive style where I like I predict my opponents moves, fighting Lion is my weapon of choice.

I would run Mask of Bakris (with stasis obviously). Disparity and Matador with Harmony in 6’s. I get to choose when to play aggressively, utilizing the damage buffs from MoB. Also allows for quick escapes, and ankle breakers. By far the most fun I’ve had in PvP using this setup. Highly recommended.

Solar hunter Vengeful whisper (hip fire perk, successful warmup) Igneous hammer (keep away, moving target) Sometimes swap igneous for dares trace rifle Cry mutiny (for the memes) Honestly my favorite hunter exotic is also great for support. Speed loader slacks gives you and teammates a “pretend ophidians” when you dodge. Yes bow swapping is nasty but there are a lot of nasty things in pvp. Looking for a good kinetic precision bow with swashbuckler at the moment.

I put together Strand Warlock with zippy melee, Osteo Striga, and Necrotic Grip. Basically as 'make a green mess' build to mess around in Eruption since it's a messy mode anyway. Ended up saving the loadout, it's pretty fun and unusually effective.

When a teammate dies you get a burst of healing, movement speed buff, damage resistance, and class ability energy. This is good regardless of subclass but especially good for Strand and Void. Ideal for counter-offensive and holding an area.

I've mostly played invis/fusion/quicksilver and threadling hunter with lemon/smg this season. Played a little stasis lock with conditional and bxr. Don't want to play titan pvp rn cus it's kinda stale. Basically some sort of bubble/over shield or bust. I think snipers are lame. Would rather fight than peek. Usually the most aggressive player on my team. Gets me killed alot trying to make something happen if my teammates are slow. With good teammates it steamrolls. Don't really care for 6s anymore. Typically just play comp and trials the last few years "It's all about the angles, and little windows that open and close"

I get bounties from Shaxx and do whatever they tell me to do. And die a lot.

1 ReplyI’m passive/aggressive when I feel like it. But mostly for tactical. Team is okay but I prefer my 1v1s Knucklehead is my go to… it doesn’t require any change of play for me but provides awareness at all times, which is nice. My weapons are: Vigilance wing Drang Grenade launcher I run strand (yes I am scum forgive me) But my hunter gotta look fresh! Five days/nights, full iron companion (except the cloak), a full black shader = 👌😁

1 ReplyDon’t do transverse steps unless you’re running a build that isn’t solar. If you’re running solar, use ophidian. And put on burst glide and Icarus dash. Movement speed is so good when you do that. The rest is really up to you. Increase resil, recov, put on mods. Guns are your choice, but PvP is just about maximizing your efficiency to provide the best chance to kill your enemy.

1 ReplyFirst off, I make sure I’ve got my double AR loadout ready, then I put reserve mods on my chest piece, and lastly I put my assassins cowl on with my strand build. Then I die.

Gunslinger hunter is all I use in PvP.
