Lost Sector Exotic Drop Rates STILL TOO LOW!!!
Just did this lost sector a few times and no drop. Can yall at least buff this drop rate a little? This is annoying to repeat over and over again! This kind of stuff, among other reasons is why people are leaving the game.

Where do we draw the line between grinding and too much grinding? Everyone has their own opinions on what’s best for them. Some people can grind for days maybe even years. I’ll grind for some days but not definitely for years. D1 was too much. I didn’t get a jade rabbit until year 3 and I grinded exotics for it the entire duration of year 2. I also grinded for a god roll eyasluna but never even got a decent roll. That’s a waste of time for me. Why grind for something and never get it?

the drop rate is fine they only take up to 10 minutes max. I was doing them yesterday to farm dawning materials and got around 12 exotics out of maybe 35 runs? On the lowest difficulty which in my opinion is not a bad drop rate at all! Just remember rng plays a big part in this game and is part of the fun/grind of destiny

The destiny community makes me wonder how babied these players are, this is a MMO be grateful how Bungie had made RNG so gracious

2 RepliesYou guys still do those? What exotic is worth grinding so much for that you torture yourself for it? I stopped doing lost sectors half a year ago. New exotics are trash anyways so there is no point.

1 ReplySo stop farming them. Bungie only understands statistics. You want the drop rate to be increased, then you have to stop grinding them. Bungie is deeply attached to their lost sectors, they will do anything to force players to grind them. The less we play them, the more they will improve rng.

1 ReplyYou are doing master right? I have not done them for a while but on master I was able to get the missing helmets for my hunter and titan. It was not too bad and man is dragons breath great against overloads.

Edited by Grim: 12/14/2023 11:59:32 PMThe only thing I wish for is that we could focus the exotic armor we were going for instead of having to wait for a specific day and then grind extremely hard for a certain piece to drop. Like if bungie is going to force us to play this sh!t on a loop then at least give us a token to farm or something like that for when the exotic won't drop. So then we'd be able to just focus those tokens for the loot drop that we want at the end or something like you do with spoils at the end of a raid.

Over all the drop rates probably aren't bad, they're just bad for you, RNG sucks. I ran 4 yesterday on Europa to get some dawning materials and had 3 exotics drop so not bad for me. I on the other hand have 3 rank resets complete at riven and still only have 2 of the undying weapons.

The Bungie RNG God is the stingiest sod in the gaming world. Lost sectors are a waste of time for loot they still can be fun if you have no expectation of a reward.

Keep doing it. I have been doing a lot of them lately and I find that I do about 8-10 and then one drops, but then another will drop the next run. That's on legendary. I'm not falling for that Master scam anymore. I did Masters one season and the drops were even lower than legendary. Fwiw, the stupid legendary weapons are crap. I thought they meant it would be a legendary weapon from that location or perhaps top tier weapons like Nightfall stuff or whatever, but it's just more random gunsmith garbage

I would of went for a titan build. But since I have little vault space left after the hunter and warlock, and the grind for exotics lost sectors is a trash can . I'm left with whats feeling every day now like the end of the season already and it just started. I highly doubt I make it to February . Fun game and its been some good times but the writing is on the wall . Bungie has checked out and are doing one last push to close out the game with the final shape . But really I am surprised there not letting the players have more fun then they are. The game was never going to last forever so why not let the loyal players blow it up with more buff and les nerf.

I got sick and tired of getting absolutely wrecked by RNG, so I stopped doing Lost Sectors. There's a Discord server that will send notifications on the Vex Strike Force on Neomuna, and those are guaranteed to drop an exotic you haven't previously unlocked. 2 RepliesYes, very end of last season I had just managed to scrape to 1820 and had also just picked up a decent exotic weapon and finally managed to complete my first solo legendary lost sector, got no exotic, ran it again and exactly the same, nada. With new season starting I need to grind out some xp to get back to 1820 and try again, but it is really poor, it's not like it's costing bungie money to give a better drop rate. Of course, it may keep people playing and grinding or it may backfire on them.
