I honestly dont even care if we get new maps or not, pvp has such fundamental issues wrong with it that it doesn’t matter. Crossplay lag/desync is still horrible, constantly matched in lobbies with players from other continents, SBMM/team balance that is only there to predetermine the outcome of the match instead of producing fair games, no actual ranked mode, spawns are still terrible, connection quality is trash, etc.

1 ReplyWhy do you play pvp at all
-
3 RepliesWhy is every Iron Banner in Control? Why ask why? Bud dry. (Let’s see who gets that reference) 😉
-
9 RepliesI play maps in Halo that are literally 20yrs old. Good design don't age.
-
Because they’d have to pull people off other projects to make maps (actually bungies words lol). Poor excuse really. They think the foundation of pvp is the experience not the maps which is also a poor excuse. Laziness at its finest. Least amount of work possible for maximum profit.
-
Well?
You ask that as if people dont play CoD maps that are over a decade old
-
Idk, why did people get pissed when some maps were taken out of rotation? Could it be that different players have different opinions on whether or not pvp maps should be retired?
-
2 RepliesD1 hasn't even been out for 10 years.
-
We play those maps because they are timeless and not because they haven’t updated old maps or made new ones.
-
i actually like knowing a map super well. i wish there were more maps in rotation, and definitely wouldn't kick brand new ones out of bed, but this is a solid pvp despite its age.
-
There is no PVP team lmao. Gambit has it even worse than you and they don’t complain because they all left. If you don’t like it don’t play it
-
1 ReplyBecause you didn't spend enough money in Eververse
-
2 RepliesNuke town would like to have a word with you
-
2 RepliesThat's a good question with a lot of answers but part of it is just with the characters making maps that might not end up working at the same time and having that influence the abilities for pvp and PvE would have most likely been impossible. Unless maybe this was a Pvp leaning game where doing the pvp part didn't illicit some of the responses it does. The good part is the ability and gameplay reworks are finished or far enough along that maps that make sense can probably be made easier.
-
2 RepliesWhy do you guys keep asking these questions? Bungie is not a good game developer and they are killing their cash cow. This is what happens when greedy simpletons run a company.
-
Bubble?
-
…because you still play pvp….iou🤷🏾♀️
-
7 RepliesIsn’t CoD bringing making a new game we’re every map is one from ~10 years ago..? If a map is good, then age doesn’t really matter. Widow’s Court is still a great map - plays well with every range band accounted for.
-
5 RepliesThis has been talked about in twabs, podcasts, and various other gaming news outlets. The info is out there you just have to do the research.
-
9 RepliesWait, I think I know this one........because for whatever reason, despite your apparent disappointment with the game, you're either unwilling or unable to stop playing. Did I get it right? Do I win a prize or something?
-
Sorry. Wasn't aware that maps had expiration dates on them lmfao.
-
Because you still play maps that are 10 years old. It could be worse. The new full-priced half CoD only has maps from 2009...
-
1 ReplyWhy do you still play D2 thinking it would change?
-
1 ReplyWould you rather play the new maps like disjunction and multiplex lmao? Somehow vanilla maps are still some of the best
-
Right. Halo still dropping 2-3 maps every season and asking for significantly less money.
