Trials is dead, 3 separate pools need to go
Only players with several hundred flawless are playing in duos and 3's while you have to rely on rng in solo que no matter how good you are. I'll have a good game while my teammates go 1-12 combined and lose the match. The 3 separate pools just makes it worse to play in any pool. Unfortunately I don't have teammates I can play with in duos who have several hundred flawless or are cheating like so many people I've seen. The only good changes have been getting rid of the flawless pool and two mercies. The rest is hurting it more than the benefits. Time to move on to another game with an actual dedicated staff to make it good

6 RepliesThe removal of flawless pool has pushed a lot of players out of trials. So removing that was a bad idea.along with the removal of solo que. Trials was at its best with both of these active.

Trials could almost definitely benefit from going back to a form of one of the previous setups relatively quickly. The zone mode doesn't seem too bad once people get the hang of it but it has some glaring issues and there's a good chance it always would have some kind of issue because the game is always changing. It also doesn't technically matter if it is "better" or "worse" some of the stuff in trials just needs to be what some group of people that likes trials is used to. Its really hard to say going to 3s only with solo underdungeon is really going to get the response they'd want it to. But then again it might depending on how many people that play 3s have stopped playing. That should be something they should be able to somewhat tell although those numbers would be skewed as anything.

That's not what is killing trials. The removal of solo que and flawless pool killed it No one wants to play against teams of 3 and no one wants to play against player that go flawless 30 times in weekend while most of us bang our heads on the wall for going flawless just once a weekend
