Could bungie bungie not kill an exotic on BOTH sides!?
I'm a Titan main, check if ya want, Titan's the only one I made, but why in the hell is bungie taking another hunter exotic & putting in the grave in PvP & PvE? couldn't they have nerfed it in PvP only? last I saw it wasn't the new starfire... it hurts me to see anyone lose a whole "way you can play" only because of PvP.

I hate pvp and only do it when bored or try to do a little catalyst progress on suros or maybe get the colony catalyst but even to me it felt unbalanced in that aspect but I have no experience with it either than that and shall not comment on any other aspect of its balance. (Edit: they really need to specify if the nerfs will only apply to crucible or both because I think sometimes they don’t specify because that’s poor communication of important information.)

I don't see people running it in the thousands, it has diminishing returns on higher difficulties, it is a fun meme build that is just about that, fun, it isn't going to carry you through a grand master or something. So tired of them killing fun because 1% of the player likes videogames to be awful. This is why I'm not buying the next dlc. Because if it is more of the same bullshit, I don't care if it is the culmination of 10 years of a game I've been playing, I'm -blam!- done. I will not pay for any more content until I see a legitimate commitment to saying "-blam!- the gate keepers, it's time to make the game fun again".

5 Repliesalot of hunter exotics should be buffed alot in pve, almost all hunter exotics are bad in pve and it is a joke. needed pve buffs: assassins cowl - should atleast give you two melees blight ranger - your allies should be able to shoot through your blocking super. celestial nighthawk - should hit so hard it always counts as a crit, tired of shooting right at an ogres head and oh it doesn't count as a critical hit some how. should do anti barrier by default too. ararachne's fascade - should grant an improved version of woven mail atleast. foe tracer - the rework as boring and uninspired. instead have it turn an enemy into an ally for ?# seconds with a melee attack, consumes charge melee. the more damage you apply with your melee the longer the enemy remains an ally, improves duration from 15 up to 30 seconds max. one two punch can stack with it to improve its functionality. graviton forfeit - should make your allies go invis for an improved duration just like it does for you. mask of bakrius - should grant more resilience after a class ability is used. worm husk - should grant more health and shield regen in pve and also improve cooldown of your class ability in pve. i will refrain from turning this into a novel, i could go on. the point is that the exotic armor should atleast make the hunter fun and usable in endgame pve. compared to the warlock or titan the hunter is really weak, and no bungie that doesn't mean that titan and warlock need nerfs.

What I don’t understand is why do they give hunters what seems to be the most PvP focused exotics and then nerf them into oblivion? Last two Hunter exotic armor pieces that are more “useful” in PvE have been awful and gimmicky.

8 RepliesYes I agree. This is STUPID. It's been stupid. Most of the Hunters Exotics are very specific aimed usually at a certain subclass or even subclass ability. Hunters do not have a lot of Exotics that are as powerful as the other classes yet Bungie keeps nerfing the hell out of them. Sunbracers? Nope not nearly as strong as that. Ashen wake? Nope. Etc I won't go on and on. Bungie if you can adjust weapons to behave differently in different modes you can do it with our exotic armor pieces too. Then you can fix all of them. Fix what you just broke, fix stomps, fix wormhusk. You cannot make PVP and PVE work the same side by side and I'd rather you just get rid of PVP period. Personally. This came out of nowhere and it's ridiculous. Btw I don't even use this armor piece a lot at all. It's the principle. Knock it off.

10 RepliesYou literally just throw tripmines. It's not some super amazing "build" yah -blam!- throw tripmines that's it. Don't know why people are getting so riled up by their "build" being nerfed. Wasn't even a good "build" they just threw solar abilities at stuff.
