Currant, Anteater, Weasel Error codes
So, it appears in your attempt to fix the Gun Glitch issues all you have managed to do is utterly and completely destroy the servers. I can't load into any area without having to try multiple times while getting Currant error code multiple times before it finally loads. Then once I manage to get into any zone/strike/event after 5-10 minutes get the Anteater error code and get tossed back to orbit, then on top of that once booted back to orbit about half of the time I also catch a Weasel error code and get dropped all the way back to the Lightfall splash screen. If all this wasn’t irritating enough it doesn’t appear you have not even managed to fully fix the weapon issues. No longer seeing the Auto Rifle shotgun everywhere but the cross-zone sword flying is still active. Just watched someone reach the final boss in a strike in under three minutes, skipping every mob with the exception of the mandatory “have to kill” to proceed mobs.

So now Bungie Help's response on X (Twitter) is: "Over the past couple of days, we've seen a spike in error codes and disconnects. The team has confirmed that these error codes are not related to the planned fixes rolling out for the recent crafting issue and are instead a result of DDoS attacks. While we typically don't confirm these types of attacks and do not plan to in the future for general game security reasons, we believe it's the right thing to do for our players to communicate the added pressure to our systems given recent circumstances. We want to thank our players for their patience as our teams work swiftly to ensure the integrity of the game and continue to implement our roadmap for future stability improvements." So now they want to claim the issues at hand are "not" caused by thier patch but by a DDOS attack that can't be proven or denied one way or the other... But I find it kind of ironic and telling that no one at Bungie realized they were being DDOS'd for 40+ hours while posting on various platforms multiple times that the issues causing the error codes had been resolved... This entire premise is highly highly suspect.
