I see people say Bait and Switch but then I see a lot of people with Bipod.
Which is better?

2 RepliesI love my bipod roll. 12 rockets in reserves is a game changer, especially when reconstruction will load up to 4 in the mag. Bait & switch is nice for DPS for sure, but bipod is basically its own new rocket sub-archetype with a more generous ammo economy. It lets you keep your damage up, while letting you more freely use rockets without worrying too much about running out.

4 RepliesBipod does more damage overall. BnS does more damage faster.
-
Bipod is easier to dump ammo but less dps overall

I'm using one with threat detector and surrounded, it's great for GotD and now Ir Yût. For less chaotic fights, reconstruction with bait and switch.
-
Personally, I top damage whether I use bipod or BnS so I tend to go for bipod more. Less work involved. But if I'm in a gamer mood I'll use my BnS slideshot combo

Bait n switch. You can use Reconstruction if you want extra ammo in the mag. Bipod is a hinderance

Edited by BraddyBo: 9/6/2023 12:25:38 AMIf you have time to use ALL your ammo within a dps phase with 100% accuracy then bipod is better. In every other instance BnS is far better.

Bns by a mile

2 RepliesHonestly depends on the rocket build. Since you can have 4 rockets but with reduced dmg but people will still say bait and switch
-
5 RepliesI think Bipod sucks because of the 25% damage reduction and the slower reload speed just for an extra rocket and some ammo, especially considering rockets in D1 could roll with Tripod which not only gave three rockets but did not reduce damage of the rockets

Bait and switch
