Worst reprise raid
The hot potato mechanic is not fun and annoying. Bridge encounter is specifically the worst. Whole encounter is designed to waste your time.
Vog and KF we're actually fun raids and the encounters were interesting and fun. This? Not so much.
Edit: There are so many LFG posts begging for a hacker to kill Crota. It's funny. What does that tell you 😂

I don’t mind the changes and the bridge is probably the easiest encounter.

Nothing is really free, if you believe a multi million dollar for profit company is giving you anything for free, you don’t fundamentally understand how a business works, somewhere along the line we still paid for it, employees were paid to work on it, assets had to be updated, reformatted, mechanics adjusted, it didn’t magically just become something from nothing, the same way it wasn’t pro bono work, you think it’s free, you still paid for it

well is obv is the worst, is the worst raid from d1, i find this raid really fun outside the 2 boring first steps . players ask for cheaters cuz they just suck at the game simple as that

2 RepliesI jumped into it yesterday blind but I solo'd crota back in d1 alot (was the only raid I could lol) and I am not a good player, I'm not bad, I'm just not good, the whole mods and stats thing has just never been for me, but after having tried to see how far I could get on my own in d2 and finding that they have made it literally impossible has really bummed me out. For me, Destiny was a game that you'd play, with friends if you had them, but there was nothing to stop good players or even just average players with a bit of luck and patience from completing everything, including raids with a 3m, 2m or solo and to see how many steps backwards bungie are making, ruining the fun and the reasons D1 veterans still want to play just upsets me but hey,, they had to find a reason to justify them building an in game lfg instead of using one of the already built systems somehow right? SMH. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against an in game lfg, but, add it as a seperate mode for the raid, you get normal, and matchmade versions on the director

3 RepliesI agree. Vault of Glass and Kings Fall were basically the same way they were in D1 with some small changes. Crota’s end has been overhauled imo. Especially the Crota encounter.

1 ReplyThey need to tone down the pendulums in the 1st encounter now that we’re not on challenge mode. So many people dying compared to every other section of the raid. They single-handedly make it the hardest encounter in the raid as well as the longest. Just makes it a chore to teach new players so they can get better at it when the 1st encounter is so long and unforgiving. The rest of the raid though is 100% fine and not very difficult on normal.

They should have kept it where you could solo it. The waste of time thing is true of all recent content. Everything is geared toward stretching out playtime and nothing about fun. Look how they did Lake of Shadows when they could have worked on the corrupted.

Sooooo Crota is annoying but Vog is good ? Because it wastes your time... Have you played the first [b]3[/b] encounters of Vog. To be clear I dont dislike Vog, but criticising Crota for that while praising Vog is kinda stupid. You literally sit and shoot some adds for a fix amount of time for opening and confluxes. Oracles arent really different either. Also ppl complaining about Crota returning, and then complaining they change stuff is beyond me. Crota was really fun in contest, now maybe a bit too easy and "hot potato" mechanic requires like 2 brain cells ^^

You don't need a hacker to beat Crota, you just have to not be bad at the game.

EVERYONE need to participate this way, start to finish. No one stays behind and waits for a invis hunter to cheese the 💩 out of everything all the way to Crota like most people did in D1 Crota. D1 Crota especially in the end was not much harder then a strike. It was solo’d repeatedly with all kinds of shenanigans that it became the lowest clear status raid in the game. Litterly no one in the Destiny community expect this level of change and I (my opinion) love it. It’s still going to be easy, but the way they raised the bar to make it like this actually made it in to a raid. Well done bungo! They will do anything for minimal effort and get the premier rewards with no real input or work towards it. And they will go to steep ends with no respect for the people that actually pull this thing off legit. People are so insufferable these days they post “KWTD” and proceed in the raid ‘going on add clear’ only. F that. Same for people that would pay 100$ for insta kill cheese that in the end was work of hackers as well. Still people knew full well and still asking for i…. Very sad.. it’s a shame to see what this community’s come to these days…
