It's a massive inconvenience having to uncheck/reset/swap mods around to synergize all my different builds/loadouts.
For this season if I want to go from a strand build to an arc or void build and have artifact mods that compliment them, I have to manually swap the mods around each and every single time.
This is a huge time sink in the long term. it's a frustrating process that's majorly inconvenient in endgame content that locks you out of changing your loadouts if you forget something.
I should be able to switch to any of my 10 loadouts and have the artifact mods that complement the build that I already saved to that loadout.
Hell, you can even add our ghosts into the loadouts too so I dont have to always remember to manually switch out my prosperity, core harvest or modularity mods on my ghost if I select my crucible, vanguard or gambit builds/loadouts.
This would be a HUGE quality of life improvement for me and many others.

I feel like I'm trying to send my mom a paragraph in high school telling her I'm at football practice with a Nokia 3000 flip phone...having to press one button 3 times just to get the letter C.

I can not simply go to my 1st tier and swap Scout overload to Trace rifle... I have to back track from 12 to 1.. What is that... It should just let me toggle off 1 and toggle on a different 1, regardless of row or when it was unlocked..

3 RepliesBungie knows adding the Artifact to load outs would effectively be the same as allowing all Mods on the Artifact to be unlocked. Bungie doesn't want that. Besides, in the future, if Bungie did want us to have access to all mods, it would just be easier to allow the whole thing to unlock as opposed to programming it into the loadout system.

Also, why cant i add the same weapon to a loadout on my hunter ánd my titan. As soon as i equip it on my titan, it disappears from my hunter loadout. Why is something that has exieted for years outside of Destiny so hard to implement?

I imagine it would cause the issue at seasons end where choosing the loadout crashes the game in the subsequent season because the mod no longer exists. Although the easiest thing to do at seasons end would be to wipe everyone’s artefact selections so that isn’t an issue. QOL is an afterthought for Bungie unfortunately.

I'd like to see it too. TBH I haven't really used the loadouts after years or manually changing them (except GMs). I've saved a few ut I don't really use them. However, changing the artifact for each one is a PITA even when I do the rest manually. That said, one step better than last year, at least we CAN change the artifact these days/
