The meta spam and camping and team firing is just so bad. I can’t go in with fun loadouts play around. It’s either use meta-or get stomped. Not to mention how slow the games go because everyone scared to peek. It’s not bad when you have a connection-based option, but when trails takes that away, it’s either play trials or don’t play nothing. Plus when you’re in the upper skill you’re facing Kronos, and all other cheats. If you want an SBMM playlist, that’s fine but can we at least all ways have a connection base regular 6v6 at all time. Not this team scorched or Mayham just regular controlled connection base.

It should be a mode you can just go have a good time in. That’s where cbmm is good. End game modes like comp (and arguably trials, yeah I said it) where meta loadouts and skill matter more should have sbmm since you wager something to enter (rank or adept loot). End game modes are supposed to be hard and sweaty by putting your skills to the test against equally skilled players. That’s where sbmm helps out a lot since it “tries” to give you fair matches. The problem with sbmm though is that it works for high population. the population of the playlists has tanked dramatically this past 6 months. I was playing comp the other day only to get the same 5 players in back to back games due to the low population since trials was up. Sbmm also deters my friends from playing with me because of my higher skill lobbies.
