Focusing Exotics Should be base stat 65 minumum
With the ludicrously high cost of the exotic focusing the base stat roll of a focused exotic should be 65 minimum. No exceptions. I've seen people focus at 55 or less. World drops don't even drop that low.

2 RepliesThere’s something that triggered the f*ck outta me when I did this. I had resilience armorer on my ghost. I got 17 mobility and 10 resilience on my abeyant leap boots. 17 mobility?! Only hunters should get mobility that high on their exotics

I really didn't even know that Exotics could go that low... I want my Cipher, 2 exotic engrams, my 3 golf balls and 250K glimmer just for the hassle. Everyone else steer clear of trying to focus Exotics.. just continue to run the Lost Sectors to death I guess. What a let down Bungo, where is the thumbs down emote?

Honestly, exotics just shouldn't have low number rolls at all. They should be a bare minimum of 65 guaranteed from any source.

I've found just turning them in at Rahool without the focusing brings the best results so far. But obviously they are gonna be just random. Seems to work with the ghost mod too. I just turned in 5 and got some absolutely bangin rolls. A karnstein with 69 stat roll. 30 Res and 26 Disc. But I get that it's not exactly focusing. It does make me realise that to get rid of shards I've masterworked some really poor exotics before now. Got some shocking rolls at 10 energy. But if they are only gonna let us have 10......

3 RepliesI got 7 focused exotic engrams. All contraverse hold. All with discipline armorer. The highest discipline stat I got was 12. 3 gear got 20+ on mobility. This is my story with Bungie’s BS exotic focusing scam. Glad I simply didn’t expect anything better than Bungie’s core inability to deliver any quality.

3 RepliesFor Bungie "Focusing" means throw hard earned resources in the blender and hope for the best. Getting screwed is a real possibility. For the hefty price, you should literally allocate the points yourself via slider (total points randomly generated between 65 -70) That would truly be "focusing". This is just more gambling. Bungie needs to be investigated for their predatory practices.

With the cost it is, it should be base 65 minimum and I should have full control over the stat distribution. At the point when you have the shards to focus into particular exotics, you’re most likely a vet who just wants to optimize rolls so not getting to decide exactly how the stars come out is an insult. Either lower the cost or let us have more control.

This is why I will not spend one single shard of exotic focusing. MAYBE if they actually make the change to guarantee a 65+ stat roll i will, but as it stands it's just not worth gambling your shards
