Red boarder neomuna drop rate is terrible
I’ve spend multiple days and crazy hours farming gold bounties for the last red boarder pulse and it won’t drop. This drop rate is way to low and a stupid way to earn them. I should be playing your game not mindless farming and reloading terminal overload hoping for a gold bounty. Bungie make your game fun again

2 Repliesyou should be able to focus the neomuna weapons at nimbus. not sure why nimbus doesn't work like zavala, the seasonal hub, or lord shax, where you can focus weapons if you have the required engrams. this type of inconsistency is why people get frustrated with this game. make all vendors work in the same way, that way there is an understood process of earning weapons. bungie must really profit in some weird way on player engagement time, if not, then they are inept at designing their own game.

Considering that The Witch Queen has a better (but not by much) system to get this kind of patterns, I wonder if the people that designed Lightfall played a single hour of last year's expansion.

1 ReplyThis, I have every red border done except for the pulse rifle (4/5) since two weeks ago. Since then, not one pulse rifle red border has dropped. I only need one to drop and it won’t drop. Do the yellow patrols everyday including the destination npc rewards, rank ups, whatever… either it’s bugged or they stealth nerf it hard.

Agreed and why a 6 man activity on the same planet as the weapons cannot drop the red border weapons is beyond stupid.

I feel you. Took me 4 days of reloading TO, and it dropped FROM AN RANK UP ENGRAM! This is such a bad design imo. I can accept RNG, and I’d rather farm TO, or weekly mission or whatever ACTIVITY. I must have spent more time reloading than clearing the gold patrol.

Days??? Try 3 weeks of farming for the last red border pulse and still haven’t gotten it

Down to 4/25 left after a friend and myself did 10-20 hours (you lose track of exact time when doing something so repeatedly) of focused farming for heroic patrols. The worst part is each weapon seems to be around 15% red drop rate. So if you finish 2-3 real quick that does not help you at all to get the final patterns. Let the Nimbus weekly give 1 pattern you don't have guaranteed a week. Then at least if your planning it is moving foward.

1 ReplyI gave up on it and literally the next day I got one of the last 2 I need. The thing is all screwy. Just need 1 more hand cannon and I don’t have to worry about it anymore. I’m just going to do the weekly Partition missions on each character as they seem to have a pretty high red boarder drop rate compared to the other places. Needs a buff or better yet a guaranteed source. Maybe make your first account wide Partition mission each week give a guaranteed deepsight for a weapon you don’t have Craftable yet

1 ReplyThe dropbrate was good the 1st 2 weeks, but then they stealth nerfed it, and now they don't drop. I feel like the gold patrols should have a 30% drop rate for deepsights you need, then the 1st TO clear of the week should drop a deepsight. Also the 1st partition mission should drop a deepsight

Im the same with the heavy gl I swear they nerfed the spawn rate of the patrols, luckily Ive jumped primarily to other games as the grind has become too tiresome and stale for me.
