Bungie you are ruining the game.
The campaign storyline sucks, it feels like a strand tutorial.
The difficulty does not make sense at all.
If people want a higher difficult game make it for high ranks.
Honestly I regret paying for this expansion.

Well I agree the campaign felt like a strand tutorial lol. The rest is....yikes.
-
No, their idea of difficulty is ridiculous Bullet sponges aren't difficulty
-
Edited by Joulevette12: 3/29/2023 4:54:20 PMThe campaign wasn't all that hard if you think that's hard go do legendary-master lost sectors, nightfalls and roam neomuna I can accept the difficulty if the rewards are gd but it's not at this point it's just tedious as it is now and unrewarding
-
Best thing to do is stop playing it. If you don't like it don't play it. When they're numbers take a hit they will be forced to sit up and take notice. Until then complaining won't do anything. No offense

Your weapon decisions are questionable.
-
3 RepliesHard disagree. I like the difficulty revert & I wish they would make the endgame MORE challenging. The raids are a joke.
-
You chose to play the legendary campaign. You had a choice.
-
2 RepliesAin’t difficult at all , if you can’t just back out and stay in your lane don’t ruined the game for others kid.

7 RepliesThe more bad players that leave, the better chance I have of matching with good players in LFG! 😂

Double primary warrior sighted!

#skill issue

9 RepliesThe so called "minority noops" got a little victory. But the redbar sponges on neomuna are unchanged... And it feels awfull still. Nothing is back to complete normal. o:( I Dont swallow their carrot. Im continuing by boycott.

1 ReplyI’m finding the content doable, it’s not more difficult, (being one shot is annoying) it’s the fact that enemies are just bullet sponges. I joined an lfg team last night to do the weekly 100K on Legend. It wasn’t difficult or challenging, we failed because the timer for scoring ran down as each section has to be completed before you can advance and the bullet sponges just take to long to kill. We weren’t constantly dying, had decent load outs, it’s not a skill issue with this dlc, it’s using peashooters to kill elephants on gated content.

I just playing to mindlessly shoot stuff to Metalcore Feels like Metal Hellsinger DLC But less spongy I don’t mind it at all I think the difficulty is just right Just throw on some music and shoot to the beat

No, difficulty changes are mostly completely fine. There's probably some more tuning Bungie needs to do for certain activities, but overall. I'm definitely preferring it. Also, I don't get why people are saying it's a slog now. The game has been a slog basically its entire lifespan due to most content being so brain-dead easy that after a certain point, it all just turns to mush. How most stuff feels right now to me feels nearly perfect. Not too spongy, not too weak. Don't take an excessive amount of damage, but also can't take a metric tone either. Granted I never play any higher-difficulty activities beyond NF strikes. But playing through 2 Hero level NF. It feels pretty good to me. And close to what it was before the changes. I absolutely DO NOT want Bungie to revert all the changes they made. Large swaths of the game were simply too easy and dull.

48 RepliesMake patrols and sectors easier so casuals can have fun. Make raids, dungeons and master content harder so it feels like endgame. Problem solved. Everyone happy?
-
1 ReplyBungie should have simply done a hard setting, and leave everything else alone. It makes no sense to level to 1840 yet always be -20 or -25 at more difficult endgame content.

Imho only the last two campaign missions are challenging, with the very last one being a hurdle. I thought using strand would help, but it did not, quite the opposite. I helped a few friends beat the last one on legend, and I felt very demeaning to ask my friends to just circle around the arena, and use their super for the last stand. Patrolling on Neptune isn’t fun at all. The destination is either empty, or a players farm. I’m exhausted to help with Avalon on legend. The scaling is absurd so I renounced on helping two friends at a time. This week will be the last one I help some friends on legend, since that will be the last catalyst they need to be done with Vexcalibur. Other than that, I will probably be hated again on, however with armor affinity gone, we can create simple builds that allow for incredibly fast ability and super regeneration, unlike in previous seasons. In fact, we are now able to stack ashes to assets with hands on and dynamo on our helmets for instance, or the likes once mutually exclusive mods on each piece of armor which also made exotic gear nerfs such as HoIL totally logical. Players can spam abilities and recover their supers faster than ever even with those nerfs. On top of that, firespites, volatile rounds, jolting and even the new fragments we got for light subclasses help ability and survivability even more. My real issue with this DLC is the actual absolute lack of new content. The campaign is lame, the seasonal activity is boring, the new strike is oppressive, and the rest of the game feels like an over run hamster wheel. For what purpose? None since being over powered isn’t even a thing anymore and loot is largely trash. Fanboys claim that Bungie worked on this DLC since over a year. I strongly doubt. In fact when reading corporate news, it seems Bungie has been busier with internal conflicts and management rather than development. And it shows, like never before, since VV and HM are not even there anymore to compensate for Bungie’s “consistent inability to deliver quality content in time.” I hope Bungie has a lot to add to the game soon, or once casuals will have caught up, this game will be deserted.

Edited by TheShadow: 3/30/2023 1:34:09 PM
Bungie you are ruining the game.
Um, the game was ruined when they decided to change how things played out after Forsaken. You know, because they have to brake things that were never broken in the first place by constantly changing things because that "fixes everything" as we can see.
The campaign storyline sucks, it feels like a strand tutorial.
Hey, this business was nice enough to take 8 years of feedback and come up with the idea to pay them to skip it with the other characters. So you should be praising them...
The difficulty does not make sense at all.
It's not supposed to, it's just basically this business doing what they usually do. Bata testing all of you, especially now to see what they can get away with when their new IP drops and they will apply that same flawed logic to the new IP.
If people want a higher difficult game make it for high ranks.
Well, what fun would that be? They have all of you right where they want you, playing the game no matter what they do. It's not like they couldn't have used their head prior to making the changes knowing they only had since 2007.
Honestly I regret paying for this expansion.
I was smart enough not to fall for their nonsense. I didn't buy is and see no reason at all to. (All jokes aside, this isn't a joke. This business literally had the entire time since 2007 to know how to adjust things properly in their own game being the fact that they have D1 and D2 and they had the entire D1 to work off of and here we are.) I want to say why, but it's more than obvious that they want this game done and over with. (((The BS that will take place here shortly is the actual problem.))) They knew how bad this expansion is because they designed it to be how they wanted it to be. There is no "mistake" in what they did at all.
They knew most of you would accept things how they are, and when they make the adjustments from how things are now knowing even that will literally be half-baked? Watch how this forum alone how some of the fans will praise them for adjusting things and pretend this business "listened to their feedback". You know because they didn't know what they were doing as they never know what they were doing deliberately breaking things in the game to fit their selfish needs and wants🤦♂️
5 Repliesbungie should let the player set the world difficulty and tie loot rewards to each level like division does

Edited by Zerdansk: 3/30/2023 10:01:14 AMI can understand high difficulty content but it would be good to see an impact on survivability as you climb the power levels. I honestly feel like you could run an 1830 activity at 1800 LL and again at 1830 LL and see very little difference in the amount of damage you can take from combatants before you’re wiped faster then Amanda Holiday.

Edited by Czech The Oven: 3/30/2023 1:25:51 AMI want to know the stuff they're smoking to make Neomuna patrol enemies stronger than master raid enemies

I suppose it gets down to what you want from those periods of time, scarce, that you have free. You are either having fun or you are not. It will be my last rodeo after five years because it’s not fun for me. People ultimately vote with their dollars: market democracy in action!

3 RepliesYou are correct. Mass player exodus is coming one everyone completes the new content. Nobody I’ve talked to or played with find the difficulty changes fun. We all feel the game is less fun to play. Good job Bungie.

3 RepliesPeople who complain the game is hard are : Using 2 primary weapon / dont super / dont use heavy ammo / dont mod armor / dont use exotic .....
