5 RepliesDid 3 matches in IB and only ran into 1 person using the immortal. Caught me off guard a few times because the range on it was crazy but found a counter for it with Osteo Striga/DoC(scout rifle from KF). Took them down almost every encounter unless i was already low health.

I never went to trials but now everyone I find has the immortal instantly shredded me with bullets. Now I felt so much anger as Bungie need to do something or else newer players won't dip their feet into pvp.

28 RepliesNope. All high-range smgs need a nerf. Reduce the impact of zoom on the range stat. Rangefinder is the key here not just target lock. Tarrabah, Ikelos, Shayura’s, Multimach, Escape Velocity…

11 RepliesIt’s one perk one the gun that’s causing issues. Target lock needs a hard nerf to it’s damage. That’s the only thing I’ve seen besides the bass range being high also has anybody looked at field tested and what it’s adding to range. I can feel the handling bump and reload. Idk I honestly think sharyura is way better but as I said it’s one perk that needs tuned. Let bungie figure that out tho lol

2 RepliesI wish people would quit whining and begging for nerfs. I played trials a lot this weekend. You can outshoot an adept immortal easily if you stay back and keep distance and use an auto rifle or pulse rifle. Tarrabah outdoes it at close range, too. So do fusion rifles and slug shotguns if you can aim. It isn't Super-Gun. But nah. The Destiny community cries a lot and BungLe nerfs everything good into being useless. And the game dies a little more every time. Those of us that did get one are super sorry you guys and gals didn't. But maybe just play against the new weapon, instead of demanding it be gotten rid of simply because you may actually need to adapt and change up your playstyle....

17 RepliesI played a little IB last night. I was outgunning it with other SMG’s. It’s only a 750. If it was a 900 then maybe we’d have a real problem. There’s a reason Bungie’s scared to put the Multi Mach back in the loot pool.

The adept version you may have a point because that gun with adept mods is crazy but everything need to be buffed up instead of watered down. Were all addicted anyway so why should they even care. I hate this game at the moment but what else is there if you like to game?

5 RepliesI feel like Bungie either doesn't learn from their past mistakes, not bright enough to recognize it, or just doesn't care. Why would they release another OP as a MFer SMG into the game that can only be acquired via high end PvP & then only give a single opportunity for people to acquire the gun during the relevant part of the season? Does anyone remember when they did this with not forgotten, recluse, Gally, mountain top, etc. ? How did this make it past the Brass at Bungie??

2 RepliesNah. I'd say it's more along the lines of NF/Lunas where they're just a league above their weight class. The main reason why it's so strong imo is rangefinder is in the 3rd slot while it has free range of damage perks in final column. If rangefinder was in the same column as target lock/kc the gun wouldn't be as dominant.

I looked at alot of players who uses it has the adept version where they can slap on the adept range. I think that’s more op than the normal ones. And players also probably may have mnk or others for reduced recoils which needs to be looked at, too.

12 RepliesAll the players that think it’s fine are statistically trash players… While I think target lock is the main issue. A single look at any high skill lobby will show you Immortal has to get looked at. It’s a way better ikelos.
