This has been asked for since d1, not gonna happen. Just like in real life, youre stuck the way you are.
-
You know I actually find the lack of this option very funny given Bungo's stance on gender, transformation and inclusion.
-
Sorry m8, don't think it'll ever happen. I'm stuck with yellow decals on my Exo's head, cause back in the day it matched really well with the shaders of a certain nuked faction known as the Future War Cult. In D1 factions were so cool and had their own exotic marks and such. Such a shame... Now I look like some weird Transformers Bumble-Bee fan. Can't remember the last time I took off my helm. Been many moons.

Unfortunately I think if Bungie could do it, they would have already done so. They could make a lot of money with a 'Character Recustomization' macrotransaction otherwise.
-
People have been asking for this for almost 10 years now I think it’s time to let go.
-
they put their pronouns in vidocs because its woke, reflecting that in game would cost actual money to code and implement. classic business, picking the low hanging fruit
-
2 RepliesYou used the word gender. It's gonna trigger soooooooo many folks.
-
6 RepliesEdited by Artisan: 3/16/2023 9:20:27 PMThere's no longer any gender classes in the game, they removed both genders from the game. You do have only vague masculine-like or feminine-like - adequately describing nothing at all. But no, even that can't be changed. $3.8 billion isn't enough to pay for adding such complex coding features as that now.
-
They "hurd" you. Next hotfix it's happening
-
That's how you can tell that Bungie doesn't really care about this sorta thing. They made an annoying character in an extremely narratively flawed dlc non-binary and called it a day. Additionally they didn't add any customization options for the people they claim to "stand with". Just goes to show how flawed the modern culture of woke brownie points and cancellation is.
-
1 ReplyBungie is probably working hard on this feature, most likely 200 employees are currently sweating while overworking in the homeoffice working 2, yes TWO whole hours every single day on this feature, they are working overtime for sure! And they are making sure all genders are taken care of and treated with the most possible respect! Bungie is great, Bungie is awesome.
-
2 RepliesThey have major difficulties in just changing your handle, good luck with character customization.
-
Just say they are Transgender. That should work. (its a joke, Bungie should have a cosmetic vendor)
-
1 Replyon a list of things that need to be fixed or changed in this game, changing appearance/gender is the least of our worries. It's something you spend less than 1% of the game paying attention to, so...really, has very little impact on the actual game. The bugs, glitches, freezes, invisible players, unnecessarily high Legend LL's - those are require priority fixes.
-
Delete your character and make it again.
-
We've been asking for this since destiny 1's launch, shows how little they actually care for what we want
-
Oh wow you opened the floodgates !
-
Considerably more pointless of an issue, considering we've had an invisible character bug for 3 weeks now. Even if you could change your appearance...nobody would be able to see it... not that they could, considering everyone wears armor head to toe.
-
2 RepliesLiterally just make a new character. Then you can do whatever you want.
-
Bungie: Overdelivering.

I’d like to be able to change at least one of my characters. Unfortunately this has been asked for so often and for so long that I don’t think it’s ever going to happen.
