Titan Identity - How Bungie is currently failing Titan's and how they can do better...
Tonight, youtube recommended a 5 month old video from a channel I've never followed or known about. It tied in perfectly with the post I made last week about Bungie's need to hire more Titan mains if they ever want to come close to giving Titan as much an identity as Hunters and Warlocks enjoy. By no means is this an attack on Hunters and Warlocks. I am very happy that those two classes have crystal clear identities and Bungie does not struggle to deliver for those groups.

This video spells it out better than I ever could and better than anywhere else I have seen it. This is not an attack on the developers either. I know they are doing the best they can. I suspect that 80% of their workforce at least are Warlock and Hunter mains and what they have delivered so far is Titans as Hunters and Warlocks see them (meme driven) rather than how Titans view ourselves. I'm certain Bungie employs a lot of diversity hiring practices, but they need diversity of character class as well within their ranks.
The video, as perfectly stated as it is, doesn't arrive at this conclusion until the absolute practically last sentence of the video. Just thought that was funny, in a only funny to me way, lol...

2 RepliesI would argue it’s not an identity issue… it’s a LACK OF CREATIVITY in the play space where that defender/fighter identity interacts with the game.

Maybe wait until LF drops to see what your super is like. The complaining is based off watching clips of video and no one having any hands on experience with Strand. I punch and smash things when I play my Titan and for many that’s the Titan identity. I’ll do the same with Strand. If you want to be cerebral and powerful play a Warlock. If you want to dance around kill things while hiding under the cloak of invisibility play a Hunter.
