Please, for the Love of the Traveler, give us a firing range to test dps builds

1 ReplyTo all the people mentioning the weird static floating disks located in a random crack under a mound of dirt. Imagine, if you will, a golden hall, dedicated to our guardian. Within which lies evey single enemy, who will respawn after being killed. Killed by your weapon, which was filled by the Emporor's gracious and meek coffers, which you could access within said hall. Perhaps you find counting the fully-accurate damage numbers boring. Why not dedicate a few hours of your time to upgrading golden statues of your triumphs that are tied to easily-farmable materials that correspond to the nature of the triumph statue, who's shape was given life by our humble emperor. Parhaps, this self-contained piece of content might contain its own vendor, perhaps even it's own exotic mission. For those who don't enjoy bounty grinding, buildcrafting, exotic quests, sharing your statues with your friends, or ennjoying a great musical soundtrack, you could unlock an entire lore book. But that's all wishful thinking. Like the ship of thesues, the Destiny 2 of the past has been dismantled, the thick reliable wood set ablaze with the setting of the sun, the beautifully crafted material replaced by the cheap plastic sold by those with deep pockets and no mind for te design that ferried us to the uncertain lands we find ourselves moored upon. We are the guardians, we eat the content, and we drink the cup of loss. Glory to the emporor!

We had the tribute hall, but Bungie in their greed and laziness removed it.

Possibly a selectable raid/dungeon boss with infinite amo.

6 RepliesI thought we already had those and they were called raid bosses. Because they just stand still and get shot at. TBH with every youtuber and their mom giving out "best loadout 2023" I don't see how a firing range would even benefit me. It'd be faster to just look up the best DPS combo instead of trying everything out one by one in a shooting range by myself.

Bungo in their great wisdom decided that we (players) put too much work into it and that we shouldn't be allowed to keep it. Bungo logic rule #1: If it benifits the playing community and not our income, nerf it or delete it.

1 ReplyHave you been to the area below the enclave like you go to craft your weapon then you can go below and shoot at different ranges. Some shot Crit spots others so normal
