200+ dares ( since red borders 400+ overall ) and I can craft 2 weapons
This is the type of thing that ppl don't enjoy. Makes them question do I really want to keep playing.

You're doing it too much. I ran legend dares for pinnacles only for half of two respective seasons and got all the patterns. I never farmed them. Let it come to you.

Took me 70 and that because I was stupid Just do the weekly challenge

Yeah, I’ll sacrifice my right to craft weapons if it means I don’t have to be pissed off after it.

This feels like inefficient farming. I did probably 50-60 runs of most-all legend dares when red borders dropped, and crafted every one but the blue sword, with 4/5 patterns. Maybe try legend dares? It takes about the same time with a good fireteam and lightning rounds are more likely.

Think I probably did 40 total since they became craftable and have all the patterns except for the Other Half…mostly just ran the one pinnacle each week to get the patterns

You’re doing it wrong. It took me 50 clears to get all weapons unlocked for crafting. Make sure you do all the bounties from Xur and Starhorse to increase drops and get extra drops from Xur from ranking up your reputation. I think 3 out of my BXR deepsights were reputation rewards. It’s a grind but the weapons are worth it.

I can craft them all for a while now. Of course the maxed stacks of strange coins and treasure keys in each of my characters postmaster when I started helped!

1 ReplyDo you do the weekly bounty? Ive done the weekly bounty and like one or two runs on two characters every week for 2 or 3 months and i can craft retraced path, battler, both swords, pardon our dust and wastelander

2 RepliesHave you done the harder version? I can’t remember exactly because it’s been a canny while since I did it but your meant to be guaranteed a red border weapon that you haven’t got the pattern for from either doing the harder version or the bounty you complete by doing the harder version.
