Same pinnacle gear and weapons
I've been stuck at 1589 for over 3 weeks now. There is something broken with pinnacle drops when you get close to the pinnacle. I get mostly weapons and when I do get gear, it's the same gear, over and over. How can it be so much quicker to get within one point from the pinnacle than it is to get to the pinnacle? Please change something

1 ReplyBeen this way for years, i no longer give a crap about pinnacles. Bungle obviously knows this is an issue but might think it encourages more grind, it doesnt. People will get five boots in a row, 6 helmets in a row and eventually give up caring as i have.

They need to make it that you only get repeats once everything has been leveled. So if you just need gauntlets, you don’t constantly get boots or weapons.

The last 2 seasons, I got down to the last few days before I finally got to the cap. I just figured RNGesus had forsaken me.

1 ReplyIts not really RNG Anyone that raid and do dugeon weekly can tell you that they easilly got maxed week 2-4 While RNG as its tiny part its not as important as peoples think it is especially when you do most of the pinnacles activities Also I'm gonna be honest for most peoples that can't get max its doesn't matter ....if you don't do master raid or GM your level doesn't really matter and you shouldn't really care about it ....especially since they no longer make The new seasonal activities high in light And its double useless when the next season is a big DLC since you will gain a crazy amount of light level with blue drops

I won’t even trip off it especially with the DLC around the corner but I do miss when hard mode raids dropped maxed gear that’s probably the only reason I don’t do raids allot like I used to in destiny 1.

If all they give is trash and keep you from hitting cap, you keep grinding. Then they can show player numbers. All about the dollars.

Are you sure you’re not doing a powerful thinking it’s a pinnacle? The only scenario I can think of is if you get a pinnacle drop for a gear piece already at that level because the rest of your gear isn’t evened out or too low for the pinnacle to give you a boost.

Got two pinnacles today which I already have. I just need two pieces of gear and I'm probably not going to get them before the end of the season. This is so broken Bungie. What a waste of time doing things that you don't want to do to get a "chance" at a pinnacle you need. Just make it a reward and stop wasting our time playing what or how you want us to play
