Update: Error Code Potato on Startup - Battle Eye blocked by antivirus
After today's update i keep getting error code potato. I have checked the file path and updated /reverted my graphics drivers but that didn't seem to work.
Edit: Battle Eye was being blocked by my antivirus. Had to release it from quarantine and was able to login.

Great call out just checked my antivirus and it was blocking battle eye as well. Released it from quarantine and now i can play again. I also use Total Av if anyone was wondering.

Edited by Týr-Skadi: 1/12/2023 2:06:22 PMDunno if it's related to TS's issue but i have a: "could not connect to servers" error allmost every time i launch the game. And every time this happens and after pressing enter to try again the game logs in normally and it's fine.

I also just got booted almost at the last boss of Legend Seraph due to a "PLUM" error, first time I have ever seen that and lost all my progress but could play the game right away.

7 RepliesI'm having the exact same issue. I receive the "Destiny 2 Failed to Initialize / Error code: potato" each time I try to launch the game. I orginally validated my my Destiny 2 files on Steam, restarted my computer, checked that my video card drivers were updated and finally just did a complete reinstallation of the game. Nothing has worked at this point. Not sure what to do now.
