Stop blaming SBMM and start blaming Peer to Peer
SBMM would work fine and is needed in certain modes if only the game wasn't Peer to Peer (P2P).

48 RepliesFalse news. PvP is in its worst state since Shadowkeep, and you know what happened then? SBMM. It will be reverted once the numbers drop so low that they have no choice, just like it did the last three times they tried it. It just sucks because it’s going to take half of the year for Bungie to get their heads out of the sand.
