Pvp connections are ridiculous
It looks like most people are hacking now because everyone is teleporting or bot walking right.by you into a wall or off a cliff and then your dead

15 RepliesThats what happens when you have cross play, peer to peer connections, developers on holiday until April NOT working on the servers, and net limiters that battle eye doesn't catch. The fact that people think SBMM is the problem when these problems have been around since before SBMM is absurd to me. Y'all need to get educated.

Another thing is cheating devices contribute to about 90% of cheating going on. If anything Alienware needs sued for selling and creating these devices and made to stop production.

Perhaps the reality is people ARE actually cheating instead of muh SBMM causing bad connections. There were already huge amount of lag switchers in trials and you can search on YouTube to see them. Bungie never banned them, and now the player number is dwindling -> more players are sweats that cheat as casuals quit already. IF it's genuine lag you'd expect to see them getting disconnected OR the lag giving them disadvantage but in general the lag seem to always give the lagger advantage. D2's already very prone to error code without lag.

Because it makes more money this way, and the players don’t seem to care. They still play the game. Seriously. Go play any other pvp experience in 2023 and you’ll feel better.

5 RepliesI played 3 iron banner matches and threw in the towel . I think I ended up a .8 K/D . Players were bouncing all over and some were outright unkillable. One went all Blair Witch on me against the rail and when I started to shoot him , I was nova bombed from behind by that player. It’s probably the worse it has ever been .

1 ReplyIt is complete crap. So much cheating and/or lag etc... it really can't be taken even slightly serious. How do I at least not matchmake with PC cheaters??? Just Xbox only What are the odds that all but 1 match are losses and at least a few are mercy ruled playing in the freelance list???!?!?! Seems like some world class crap matching going on. I know I'm not a pvp gamer but I can't tank almost every match.

I had a IB game where a Titan using revision zero was shooting players through walls somehow? I have one eyed mask and when he’d damage me I would sit behind a wall and he was also Judy who d the wall, I was watching his outline through the wall and boom he kills me? Kept doing it over and over to me and whoever else was on my team. Other than that it’s just bs players having an over shield entire matches. Hunters invisible the entire match etc…

3 RepliesNgl it is actually bothering me how bad it is. Sbmm was a BIG mistake! I just can’t have fun dieing to bs. Last season my iron bannor kd was around 3.0 this season 1sr 2-3 games was fine after that the connection was BAD dieing to people who don’t appear on radar or hear one shot from a HC then just drop dead. It was normally from crossplay but now even people on the same platform are doing it! Must be playing people 1,000 miles away or something 🤷♂️

It's not people lagging. Its connection to the server issues. I play a lot of pvp, with others and solo, the issue is on bungos servers. I was seeing my teammates i was in party with wall bouncing, and they said they saw me doing the same thing. I'm hard wired in to a 900mbs connection, they're similar. People aren't hacking, but a lower quality connection will suffer more. Its been awful since the new pulse came out and the API went down. Much change needed.

Is IB even SBMM now? The connections are terrible regardless. Haven't come across the amount of rubberbanding and desync as I have yesterday, previously.

I tried playing a single game of iron banana yesterday, it was so bad I was getting killed multiple seconds after I had taken cover. Not a single "connecting to server" message though.
