Iron Banner Cabal feels lazy and is disapointing.

Really guys? just a single turret drop in mid in-between rounds? You made it sound like it would be a lot more cool than that.

  • 1 expected way more turrets, like 5-7 on the ZONE. 2 then after capturing the zone there should be like 3 turrets spawning in during the holding to mess up peoples pace. probably wouldn't work with the current bubble spam

  • Is see 3 turrets… and a capture point… So where is the Fortress 😂😂😂 unless the idea was to hold and defend the capture point… and only because of that you (Bungie) called it… Fortress… Honestly this looks stupid and boring… Instead of “inventing a square wheel” how about you give us a fresh new map for IB each season (in addition to a new seasonal map for general crucible, and also a new map for Trials). That would be way more fun that this garbage of a game mode… Having 3 new maps each season (1 for QP, 1 for IB and 1 for Trials)… That ladies and gentlemen should be a standard each season in this game. Instead we get… Fortress 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    • I expected something more like overcapping each zone to add turrets, not 5 seconds of shooting turrets for a mid-map zone.

      • It should have been the 1 zone dropping randomly around the map, spawning turrets each time. Then it would be more like king of the hill or something .

      • I thought it would have been every zone capture wold drop a cabal turret and holding a zone would transmat more in or replace ones that were destroyed.

      • I don’t know why they keep trying these “experimental” modes intstead of adding things like king of the hill. That’s be a perfect mode for D2 as long as they made the hull big enough.

      • Agreed. They made it sound like you could fortify zones you held with turrets and cabal reinforcements. Instead it's just teams camping and watching the paint dry.

        • I don’t like the new mode tbh. The camping and ability spam meta was bad enough, and this thing promotes it to an unhealthy degree.

        • Feels like Heroic 1656 and on a losing streak as of writing this. Besides the bubble and well placements with these turrets. Bungie should have incorporated champions instead of these weak turrets.

        • I haven't played it yet (just back from holidays) and I was curious how much Cabal involvement there would be. A single Turret to me sounds appropriate for how little Effort Bungle puts into the game anymore. Destiny is nothing more than the underfed neglected Cash Cow to fund their Matter development.

              It’s lazy because players are just lazy. Nobody even wants to follow the game mode. I believe 1/4 of the whole base doesn’t even know; doesn’t even care. Just lazy--blam!- people. Lol

                  I would have a idea for iron banner but it would change its core concept by a lot, but it would be a kinda gambit style thing without being gambit But the idea would be this, in the middle of the match some jump pads would happen were two guardians from both teams can enter, once entered they are put in two different areas where they fight high levelled enemies with skulls on their bars, since they were trained by Saladin and its who can kill the most enemies without dying and if you do die you lose some points, high risk high reward And to stop people from A: camping at the launch pad, unkillable turrets that also by pass abilities B: build that make them unkillable in pve. by making a timer so the other place is bombed killing the guardians there is they don’t leave in time It just a idea I have

                  • Yeah, I wanted Barrier Collassus wrecking both teams, and Cabal ships reigning fire from above This is just capture another zone after you kill a few turrets

                    • The matchmaking is still insane. Despite "sbmm" blowouts are every other match. I'm 1.4kda and constantly match people with 3kda. Team balancing is even worse. Literally brain dead people are in charge of this. Gamemode itself is fun, for what it's worth.

                          Don't forget to mention the bubbles, one is okay you can beat it but when it's 6 and the save them for that middle zone is too much. They need to stop trying to change it the past few game modes for Iron banner got so much hate, they should make ot mayhem because of all the matches needed per week. Not to mention people still don't understand its gonna be a game of control, not a game of sit there and have a chat with your friend staring at the enemies while they control the zone.
