If you aren't playing Comp, that's fine too. I don't plan to until there are some proper rewards (cosmetic, materials, etc.) for reaching higher ranks. The idea of SBMM in a ranked ladder also disinterests me.
My concern is how much of the matchmaking is weighed toward rank and skill? Will there be players of the same rank that could never match against the other because of their skill difference? An explanation from Bungie would be appreciated.

-need to show rank on emblem or name -rift should be first to 3 not 5 -spawns need adjusting in rift so you always spawn near your point, not halfway across the map. -showdown cap points on some maps needs changing so it's not a advantage to one side -rank based match making over skill based -less special ammo - point system needs adjusting as sometimes you only gain 5 for a win every though you obliterated the other team

It's the best game mode by far. I've only played people at my skill range, and it's insane Once subclasses are rebalanced, it will be perfect

I tried a round last week. Realised my G&T was merely an empty glass, topped up came back and quit the "match" Haven't been in since. 3v3 is -blam!- biscuits.

I’ve played a few matches done my rank (silver, which sounds about right for me honestly) and I got my 2nd rose. Honestly comp feels alright. There’s always room for improvements though but yeah it feels alright.
