don't tab out when activating cross save
I was activating cross save and had alt-tab'ed to steam to check if my password and email was correct and noticed that it used the wrong email. so I tab'ed out to steam double checked the email and when I tab'ed back in it had locked in the wrong email and the wrong steam account. I haven't authenticated the email (because it's the wrong one) but I can't chose a different account to link and authenticate
can someone help?

Unfortunately, while you mention having not authenticated the Steam account, you do actually have cross-save active. This makes things a bit more complicated. It is not possible to unlink platform accounts while cross-save is active. You would first need to deactivate cross-save, which would put all involved platform accounts into a 90 day cooldown period before they can be used for cross-save again. If you have purchased silver on any of your platform accounts in the past 90 days, that would prevent you from deactivating cross-save, until 90 days after the purchase date.
