Crown of Sorrow red box drop rate is not good
I'm trying to complete the last 3 weapons I need from the previous season and spending hours and hours running containment, sever, opening chests and using keys only to get 2 repeat red boxes of completed weapons. Why make it so difficult and time consuming to complete old content? Bungie I just dont get it. The end of a season is when it would be nice to accellerate content completion not wasting time. Maybe consider allowing us to purchase multiple red boxes at the beginning of the week instead of only 1 when we get to the last month of a season.
Update: Ran sever and containment all last night and most of today on 3 characters and the few red box drops were repeats except for 2. When I think back to the drop rate when the season was current it semed much better for the time invested. So why make it worse at the end? This is some real BS Bungie. Who is the -blam!- dev that thinks this is what players want? This is not how you get players interested in future content.

1 ReplyPro tip - decide which weapons you want at the start of the season and buy one every week. Never buy your final frame either, because that guarantees your next red border drop will be that one.

7 RepliesRed boarders need a re-work to cancel out any repeated drops once the weapon is unlocked. They way it is now is honestly terrible and low effort on bungies part it feels like they did it that way to make you waste more time. I finally got all of the dares weapons the other day I had to open up over a hundred chest to get them all but I could have done it in fifty if there where no repeated red boarders.
