Bungie, plz follow suite like Epic games and ban all controler mods. BAN all those that exploited it.
They give those pro cheat players (whom always exploit the game) a huge advantage over legit players.
I don't go a match without seeing some dipshit running chronos......

2 RepliesThe sliding and hitting headshots before they stop with linear fusions 🤯 the guys who get none stop headshots while you’re shoulder charging around corners. The guys who can pre shoot while you’re coming around a brick wall 20 feet up in the air. I don’t know what your talking about 💩😉💩

4 RepliesGood luck Cheating is becoming “normalized” and it’s bullshit.

1 ReplyEdited by Phoenix1710: 11/8/2022 11:25:38 PMFirst of all, it's [redacted], and it's a respectable tool for those of us with disabilities. It definitely doesn't cheat for me. I only use the recoil mods because normal recoil makes me grow an 11th toe. I only use the rapid fire feature when using semi-auto guns because after two trigger pulls my finger turns into a wet noodle. You guys have to be more accepting of us who need to cheat to play the game. It's really unfair when you call us out for using cheats. I mean, it's totally accurate and is exactly what we're doing, but don't call us out on it! Rude!!!

As sad as it is to say I’m sick of it myself but I might as well join them if I can’t beat them. Already priced one myself. If BungieWon’t do anything about it Then fine I will buy one and use the hell out of it

Edited by Phoenix1710: 11/8/2022 11:26:03 PMYea the reduction in recoil with a [redacted] gives players an unfair advantage. Check YouTube there are guides on how to use them and more players are purchasing them without penalty. The gaming experience for many is already ruined

19 RepliesEdited by Cal O'Mari: 11/7/2022 11:29:20 AMSo I know there's all kinds of crazy stuff people can do with paddles. I use an Elite Series 2, myself, and I do use paddles. I use them for aiming by squeezing bottom right, because it feels more natural, and allows for continued finger placement instead of moving around between triggers. Sprinting is my bottom left. Grenades are top right, and top left is melee. You can set trigger points to 3 zones, and if you've used an Xbox controller, it doesn't take much on the controller with a basic trigger to activate, so locking it for a shorter pull is the deal, but its not unfair advantage, as any trigger activates at that point, this just helps so you don't have to squeeze the controller as much, so its not giving advantage beyond dealing with shorter spring tension. I find I grip way too tight playing and paddles has actually helped that some, which has been nice because it takes longer for finger pains and fatigue. I can play for long periods sometimes, so its nice to have that. The Elite Series controllers, at the least only have paddles for enhanced ergonomics, to lessen finger fatigue. They don't add any new functions to the game, or alter anything; they just allow a different redistribution of buttons, while still keeping the regular buttons active in their proper function, so they aren't in violation of the User Agreement. Actually it was a good month or so, learning curve to use paddles, simply because this is the first one I've ever owned. Once you learn and become proficient its great, but it takes finger training I guess to re-work that muscle memory to a new imprint. Going into Gamestop, those controllers are actually being replicated alot. There's like 4 or 5 brands now that I see with varying costs, and most are pretty decent actually. Sorry its long, just wanted to give what I've personally observed. I have seen some little battery pack plugins that actually have settings for like, double trigger pull, to break barriers and enhance firerates; now [i]that[/i] is cheating. Remaps and trigger locks are fine, but extra functionalities is where its a no go.

9 RepliesActual modded controllers aren’t cheating. The only thing unfair about them is they don’t come stock with your console (price). Macros are the real problem right now.

14 RepliesThe only people that don't agree with this are users themselves.

Edited by michael: 11/7/2022 6:59:04 PMThere is a certain person on twitter who has a small following in the pvp community, not going to name and shame, and he openly admits to and defends using a [bannable device] in pvp. He debates people about it all time, theres no reasonable doubt or suspicion to be held, he has even joked about it in game by referring to it in his username and clan tag. He argues that he has impunity from being banned because a [bannable device] is merely an accessibility device and not a cheat, people argue with him all the time because he is obviously wrong but he has been an avid PvPer for years openly admitting to cheating and hasnt been banned. The current fuel to his argument: one of the community managers said on twitter that it is reasonable to consider it an accessibility device, and the wording is strange but the tweet reads as though they have used one themselves. Please dont ban me I didnt name or imply anyone. Dont ask me for a link Im not giving it to you.

8 RepliesIt’s called a scuf controller but you have other brands doing it now. Trigger stoppers Paddle buttons Everyone has access to buy one. It’s in competitive play for CoD, Halo, and apex

I swear I’m seeing this on PC from fireteams with players on PS, instant headshot around a corner from a Titan etc. stupid. The sooner these things get banned out of games the better…

Christ almighty, I just want to byle able to turn off aim assistant.

I hate when they use [redacted]. It makes my [redacted] retract into my [redacted].

Edited by Phoenix1710: 11/7/2022 5:00:41 AM[redacted] and [redacted] should be bannable
-
Edited by Phoenix1710: 11/7/2022 5:01:09 AMReally? You don't go a single match without seeing a [redacted]? You have some sort of super long x ray vision? There are better players than you out there. Consider that possibility before hurling accusations. You probably get domed by a sniper once then start screaming that the guy is cheating.
-
4 RepliesRemember kiddo, just cause someone is better than you, does NOT mean they are using controller mods.

Edited by Phoenix1710: 11/7/2022 5:01:43 AMI can tell that people who think [redacted] and [redacted] ain't powerful literally cannot aim at all with mouse

2 RepliesSo, keep in mind the servers are so bad in this game that someone could’ve stood there and sniped you, but on your screen it looks goofy as hell.
-
2 RepliesI do not think Bungie officially considers this as cheating. I am sure they can detect who is using them and ban accordingly if they wanted to as other developers now do.
-
10 RepliesBungie bans people for throwing nadess at walls but not controller mods 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

3 RepliesPut PC macros in with cheating too. Ban anyone that uses macros.
