Footsteps Audio Cue in PvP
I can't hear someone rushing me with a shotgun, only the jumps.
I remember that this was fixed during the no radar trials and comp.
It is very important to be able to hear someone sprinting at you.
Can we have some feedback on that issue?

1 ReplyImagine the year is 2022 and we can't get accurate footstep audio. In the year 2000, we had Sound blaster EAX surround sound, and the footsteps were perfect in Quake III and Unreal Tournament multiplayer sessions. This was on P2P and 1Mbit dsl internet. There is absolutely no excuse for this not working flawlessly 22 fricking years later. The bar is so low at Bungo, it's subterranean at this point.

2 RepliesAs a relief to the boredom of Destiny I've been playing Shatterline lately, and I can tell you that the PvP in that game has great audio cues. I never really noticed the lack of it in Destiny PvP before. It makes a huge difference.

I play in my living room on a 70” television with settings to daytime cinema, the sun shines on the telly then invis hunters are basically invisible and any one moving on max frames per minute on anything is a 💩 show that makes my tv go crazy. Folks if I can do what I do with my set up, anyone with 24” and above who doesn’t have much thumb movement can compete with the meta 🤯💩🤣 I used to play on 30” tv sitting 2ft in front of the tv and every kill was basically 👍 Remember everyone is different don’t try to judge yourself against the best it will eat your soul. What we really need is tunable audio ques... There kinda are, you can adjust "sfx" up and down but aside from that...

This. Its been an issue I’ve had for so long. I want either more accurate radar or better sound cue’s, although sound would be better bc I don’t wanna be watching radar the whole time

It's one of the issues with having peer to peer garbage.... It's not class specific for some who want to claim that ridiculous bais It's literally ping/latency that bugs out your ability to hear
