Asus monitor and being banned

So wondering if anyone else has already done this. I bought a ASUS monitor. Was reorganizing my room to out a new desk in and went back to Amazon yo look at its dimensions. Well I noticed it has extra features programmed into the monitor. These allow you to have a timer, frame rate counter, something else, and what I'm worried about is it also allows you to turn on a cross hair Well the monitor isn't coming till late tonight or tomorrow, and I was wondering if anyone had a idea of how bungies cheat detection works. Like if I just have it turned off should I be fine? It looks like there is a setting to turn it on and off, and I can also have it set on and then only hit a button the back of the monitor for which ever feature I want on. Anyone know or think that if I have the setting changed to off, so assuming even the hockey's won't work, if since it's programmed into the monitor that bungies cheat detection will still go off on it resulting in a ban? The features are called "game pro" if anyone needs that info TLDR: I don't plan on using these features however my monitor allows a cross hair to be turned on and off. It's programmed into the monitor itself. If I go to settings a turn it completely off will thus still result in a ban when launching destiny 2

  • All of those features are running on the monitor itself, don't interact with the game at all, and don't break any other terms by Bungie. So you can feel free to use any of those features if you want and you will not get banned, and their cheat detection won't bother you at all either.

  • If an application designed to read and modify the memory of other applications at runtime was detected targeting the Destiny 2 game client directly. This is, at minimum, a violation of Bungie's policies against runtime analysis. It is the responsibility of each player to understand what software is running on their device and how it interacts with other applications. They do not ban players for simply having cheat tools installed, but do ban for running them while playing Destiny 2. We do not differentiate between cheat tools for Destiny 2 and cheat tools for other games because it would be easy to avoid a ban by making a Destiny 2 cheat tool that pretends to be a cheat tool for another game. Make sure you turn all cheat tools off before running Destiny 2 and you won’t have to worry about bans. TLDR: if you don't know. Don't try it.
