After some testing with one of my buddies we found out that the recent changes of the bow in PvE, it had some knock on effects in PvP. The bow does it’s damage in two parts: the impact damage and the explosive damage. The impact damage has largely stayed the same but the explosive damage has been significantly nerfed. Now only doing a measly 25 damage, not even enough to stop health Regen.
Leviathans Breath used to be able to body shot supers, and now it can’t even one shot them with a headshot. Heck if someone in their super it doesn’t even do enough damage to break their shield.
If this nerf is intended I believe it to be completely unjustified. LB got two shots per ammo brick and had a really long draw time. The payoff to that was the ability to kill any super with a fully drawn arrow. Linears on the other hand get 5 shots, have very little charge time and can [i]still[/i] one shot supers to the head. There’s now no reason to use this bow in PvP or gambit, which sucks because it’s been my favorite exotic heavy time use in both for years.
Please, it’s been 5 months and this is the third time posting this as a known issue. Some acknowledgment from the team in the form of it being adding to the list of known issues would be great. I get hardly anyone uses this in PvP, but I do and I have been doing it since it’s release. It’s more fun than good but I’d rather not have it be nerfed on accident.

3 RepliesI agree. I used to enjoy using it, especially for things like Legendary Lost Sectors with Void burn. Now, it simply doesn't do the damage it did before. The explosion aspect is so weak.
