The whole shaping aspect of the game has become a chore. Rng to get red boarders. Low material caps. Can likely get a solid roll of a gun before you even unlock the pattern. Then you have to actually use the garbage crafted version of the gun to level it up to at least 10 and more than likely 16 to even be able to reshape it to what you want. The whole time, you're wasting vault space on the likely god rolled regular drop you got, and any other red boarders you may need because you know you're going to spend like 4k materials to reshape it when you finally level it up. Just let me dump some of hte 30k+ shards or planetary materials, or glimmer, or whatever that I have to level up crafted weapons. I have so many level 1 crafted weapons sitting around that I just never bother to level because it takes too damn long to do so. Even sitting at shuro chi with void tether, can take an hour or 2 to level 2 weapons to level 10. That's nuts. You could play an entire seasons worth of activities with a crafted garabge version of a gun, and still not get it to 16. You have to purposely grind them. It is not fun, and it's somehow complicated vault space even further.
