Why does Destiny 2 crash my PS5?
For the past 3 days, within 5 minutes of starting the game, Destiny 2 will freeze for a second then crash/turn off my PS5 (no error code). The controllers will not turn it back on; I have to press the power button on the console itself followed by a rebuilding of hard drives etc. Today, it happened twice. I loaded the game to the. Haha yet selection screen and left it there for a bit and it crashed. I restarted the PS5, rebuilt the drives and as soon as I was loading i to the game, it crashed again before getting to the character selection screen. I loses your another game (Horizon: Forbidden West) and didn’t encounter any issues. What is going on Bungie?!

So, it just straight up turns off? Doesn't give you any crash notifications for D2 or the hardware? Your console might have some dust built up inside. Had this happen to me a year ago, and none of the suggestions worked(clear cache, factory reset, etc.). Found some vids on how to clean it and has worked fine since then
