Trials cards that go flawless should not be allowed to be reset
All the big content creators have been pushing this narrative to reset cards to stay out of flawless pool, circumventing the entire point of the pool. If you go flawless, you should stay flawless. The point of it is to keep those who have gone flawless from facing those that haven't.
Also, if you have 5 wins, you should only face those with 5 wins. Not 6, not 4, not 3, but 5. Having to go queue against the same sweaty 3 stack is not appreciated.
Honestly at this point I wouldn't mind SBMM in Trials, at least then it's a competition and not a slaughterhouse.

Cost doubles every reset. Caps at 7 resets. 3200 shards, 64k glimmer per reset at 7. 6,350 shards, 127k glimmer to reach cap. Flawless pool enables at 7th flawless. Lighthouse is only accessible if it is your 1st flawless or your entire team has been flawless before. This eliminates constant card resets, avoiding the flawless pool, & makes you choose which matters more.

if those people reset their cards or not, you obviously couldn't get past them. no one is required to go flawless either. "sweaty 3 stacks" are the theme of the mode, you too could assemble a team. sbmm will not be in trials as that pushes for a 50/50 win loss, which destroys the 7 win card for flawless.

2 RepliesI go flawless as many times as I can on one of my accounts Friday and Saturday, and then play on my other account in the nonflaw Sunday and Monday - standing straight in front of the pearly gates kicking all the Jotunn users straight back down the stairs.

Sbmm NO Win based card YES For my 2 cents whatever plan bungie implement with trials the player base will always split casual vs hardcore players. People will always look for a loop hole so honestly if people are resetting cards I think that’s better than having a dead game mode

SBMM in trials would be perfect. Add tiers and keep all the adept loot at the highest tier. That way sweats never play casuals and there is a reason to grind it 😁

Look I get the frustration I had my weekly failures and almost moments but more restrictions won't fix it. Heck I feel the flawless pool in itself is an idiotic thing and I don't get why Bungie can't see that it's the reason it's going to feel sweaty at all times especially now that sbmm is in control. All the pools and split populations need to go. Sbmm don't work in trials and defeats the point of it.

I've even had a game against 2 of the top PvP players in my country and won the game even if it was a 5-4 win by sheer luck Yes, flawless pool should be triggered the moment someone earns 7 wins without a negative mark but guess what? Stiff -blam!-, you don't see every blueberry that gets absolutely shat on every game having a cry about it. It's the pinnacle of competitive PvP, of course it's not gonna be easy

100% Agree. Once you pick up the card, you can't reset it, unless you've never been flawless at all. That way a flawless player can go flawless once, before being put in flawless pool, even if they lose a few matches, once they get to 7 wins, they will be put in flawless pool. I played against 2 sweats last night, one player had over 135k kills, and the other 130 lighthouse carries.

People will do anything to win in such an infamous game mode. Why do you bother with trials honestly? I can’t imagine it’s actually fun for you, and the rewards are honestly not worth the severe frustration. I never played a single trials game, as I don’t have any confidence in my abilities and don’t need the frustration when I’m already depressed. I’d rather keep what sanity I have then enter a game mode like trials and break down.

Doesn’t matter. If they reset a 6 win passage that is currently flawless. They can just through a game and then reset. They could throw their first game so their passage was never flawless to begin with. There is ways around every system. If their goal is to avoid the flawless pool, all you’d really do is slow them down a bit. And if you go too draconian you could catch out other people who are not trying to game the system.

The only time i reset is of i take a loss with only 2 wins but 3 or more i keep going than after i go flawless ill reset my card can go again. I dont do it to gate keep thats stupid i do it so i can have more flawless, the ghost shell and the sparrow that i dont have yet. My suggestion to you is if you face a sweaty team wait and orbit before queing again so you wont face them again. I do agree that match making should be base off of card wins/loss but not sbmm.

If someone in your fireteam gets 7 wins in row…. All get put in flawless… seems a fairly simple solution…
