Green Rewards from spider rewards as part of Shipstealer quest
I got a pair of 1350 green boots from the spider rewards engram at the end of this weeks Shipstealer quest. Wtf?

Misraaks threatened Spider (and publicly said his birth name), Spider is scared of Misraaks (he refuses to say what he did in the House of Wolves), so he closes the bar and gives the guardian a seemingly* worthless item out of perceived spite. * worthless, but with an energy spike when they appeared? As with the Drifter, this week’s relic has everyone who knows what it is rattled/scared.

I gt the boots as well, and i absolutely loved it. Just the tiny fact that you got swindled by spider was great. That little bit right there made him feel a little more real, rather than that material trader that just says "You'll be the envy of the tower" over and over.

14 RepliesIt's intentional. Anyone who has played Forsaken, or interacted with Spider for any decent length of time knows he is not to be trusted. Spider never acts out of pure generosity.
