And y’all say console players don’t cheat in crucible
I literally just got one shot by the new kings fall raid handcannon through a wall on the opposite side of the map from someone glitching into a wall. It was on Twilight Gap and I was by heavy and a dude one tapped me glitching in the wall and then was invisible on cap point as a titan. This game is so shyt with cheaters. It’s not fun at all anymore

That’s just lag. Console has cheaters but what you explained is either lag or hacking but hacking isn’t happening on console.

That sound about like lag to me. I’ve been cross-map instakilled by some dude with the last word and a Ugandan internet connection. That’s just what peer to peer does to a modern multiplayer shooter.

He and his friends are back, or someone is using his name. I’m just saying this for anyone who says it’s impossible to cheat on console. You can find it if you search.

13 RepliesThat’s lag. It’s literally impossible to use hardcore hacks like wall hack and aimbot. I’m a System Engineer and coding experience for a living so I have pretty good knowledge on how things work. Currently there is no jailbreak for the next gen console. (You could hack on 360 and PS3) There is no way to inject Hack Code into the game on console. Lag has always been a issue, but is 10x worse with SBMM.

Having poor internet isn’t cheating nor is it a fault of the console. It’s infuriating but that’s about it.

That happens sometimes. I one shot a guy with Jade Rabbit a couple weeks ago. Someone else one tapped me with Jade Rabbit a couple days after that as well

The most console players can do is abuse those “accessibility” devices (I’m not naming the product name in case more cheating lurkers see this comment) to get better aim and stuff, but straight up wall hacks are impossible on current gen consoles. Older ones, sure, but not current. What you experienced was lag/lag compensation. With SBMM now the priority, ppl are gonna experience bad lag and bad connections in favor of being matched against comparable skilled ppl.

You got shot before you went behind that wall , but either you or your opponent lagged, causing the game to delay the damage Also PC players are in Console lobbies now, and they can run 3rd party cheating apps

Same happened to me in trials a few weeks back. That guy didn’t take damage and killed me through wall. I filed a report on bungie website with Links to two video clips. But as expected nothing further from bungie
