Game chats broken on steam
They can hear me and I cant hear them, did everything i could for like 2 hours to fix it and nothing

Turn voice chat off and on again. 4. Restart your game and PC If that doesn't fix it, then Bungie probably broke something.

Edited by RadiantVoid31: 8/29/2022 11:47:26 PMI have had that issue on Xbox. I’m also having an issue where I cannot hear people and they can’t hear me unless I add them as a Bungie friend. However, it still doesn’t fix it for when they’re on the same console. So even adding people who also play Xbox doesn’t fix it. Any activity with fireteams shows mute symbols next to names but no option to unmute. Something has broken.

Im having the opposite issue where my push to talk just isn’t working what so ever

I’ve ran into this issue before. Make sure your actual computer sound settings match what you are using for your in game audio input/output. I went to my sound settings and in both the playback and recording tabs I made sure that the correct speakers (or headphones) and microphone were set as my default input/output.
