Touch of malice is a weapon of sorrow, like Thorn and Osteo Striga, why doesn't this scout rifle activate the Necrotic Grips perk?
-
Pretty sure it DOES synnergize with the blight projectile, just not the regular bullets. And the unmentioned debuff that the blight puts on targets synnergizes with the other weapons of sorrow.

1 ReplyBecause it's Taken Blight. Not Hive Poison
-
It does on the blight attack.
-
Yeah yeah, obviously the taken blight thing, but also, that would be mega dummy overpowered. It kinda makes sense that only hamate that applies poison can do the poison thingie.
-
It does. But only with the blight.
-
What you should be asking is why make another blight weapon and not make a blight subclass to work with it.
-
It’s like wither hoard not like thorn or osteo
-
Not only does the alt fire proc necrotic grips, it buffs itself and any other weapon of sorrow as well. Gun is pretty insane.
-
4 RepliesIt does, but only on the alt fire

Edited by Blueberry Bot: 8/28/2022 3:26:19 AMI noticed your glaives have synergy now 😂
-
Because it doesn't do the same sort of poison tick.
-
8 RepliesNo poison perk on malice so no synergy
-
2 RepliesWhat do you want it to do with Necrotic? Apply poison every shot? There's nothing poison related in the gun, it doesn't make sense to give it extra perks just bc "every weapon of sorrow must have bonus perks with one exotic"
-
Because its not poison. Its alt fire is poison. And it does get affected by the in air accuracy buff.
