I've been posting this in comment sections for months now so please, hear the argument before you start angrily typing. And I never have, never will condone the harrassment of devs.
With the reveal of Arc 3.0, it's clear that class identity lines are extremely blurry still. In D1 Hunters had blink and invisibility on the same tree, dodge was tied to a subclass and an air dodge required you to use an exotic slot. Come D2 launch dodge is intrinsic to all Hunter subclasses, Warlocks gain a dive ability and air dash while Titans have different flavors of shoulder charge. Now jump forward to now after Beyond Light and Witch Queen subclass updates. Hunters now have two dive abilities (both more potent than the original Warlock dive even after its Solar 3.0 update), also getting blink back. Titans are gaining a standing dodge and that's where we bring up Twilight Garrison.
Bungie, you have introduced an aerial effectiveness system instead of tuning the exotic that people kept complaining about *cough cough Stomp cough*. So what exactly is keeping you from bringing back the other movement exotic requiring you be in the air in a sandbox punishing you if you get off the ground. Instead of using whatever game capacity required for the new Titan dodge ability tied to the whole subclass, you could have brought peace to those nostalgic, crayon eating veteran players and introduced a whole new wonder to those that have never died to their own momentum. Hell, you could even make it a total detriment to use for serious activities by making the dash extremely inconsistent, especially when jumping after reaching sprint. The argument of not bringing back Twilight Garrison for the sake of class identity is founded on nothing and, in this Warlocks opinion, trolling.
