The Darkness and The Light should have a voice singing vocals along each other for the Guardian if they are winning the encounter
The Witness many voices should sing when The Guardian is losing the encounter and about to wipe

QUEEN: We are the Champions

He will be story mission boss sadly

Edited by Ferus Lux: 7/27/2022 2:22:23 PMCan't say I can imagine that working. The Witness just doesn't give me those kinda vibes. Needs something grand like "Godrick the Grafted phase 2" or "The Last Battle of Eldrith."

1 ReplyIf you think the raid is going to have anything to do with the story than your dreaming Like VOW, instead if am intricate Hive raid solving puzzles to kill Savathun, we got a one off story about a boss who we have never heard of before, and will never hear from again Rhulk is no Oryx, he is not even an Aksis

And hot dancing girls in cages.

Edited by blood stealth: 7/27/2022 12:20:51 AMBungie usually has pretty good soundtracks that work with dialogue at the same time. The “witness” fight if it were a raid, would likely have unique dialogue like rhulk, so probably would rather have dialogue over lyrics. Unless the boss fights are rhythm based / musical, I see no reason why we can’t have a banger soundtrack like Aksis phase 2 from d1 without screaming death metal People don’t need an audio mechanic for a wipe warning, messages are a lot less buggy and reliable to notice in more convoluted fireteams

The music is bound to be good, they never drop the ball on music

1 ReplyEdited by E2BK: 7/26/2022 2:13:57 PMThey’ll never do it. Bungie hates anything that’s not protest music Edit: Example being “We’re not going to take it” or “Fight the power”

Master of Puppets? (j/k)

12 RepliesYou can tell that everyone against the idea has never played FFXIV 😂 That game has some of the best music in modern gaming and there's plenty of metal boss themes with vocal tracks, and they're pretty much all good.

1 ReplyHear me out: one of the encounters takes like exactly 5:24 and starts relaxed but periodically gets super intense with the intensity matching Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas in the background. By the time you get toward the end of the song things would be insane.

1 ReplyCan’t remember her name but the woman who created the bulk of KH music would be excellent. Also… raid? You mean the public event!
-
Nightwish should do the raid soundtrack.
-
And the witness should be head banging during the immune phase while we moshpit with the mobs.

4 RepliesOnly if Dwayne Johnson will do vocals

20 RepliesRock music is still a thing???

Have like the traveler like a chorus you’d find in church with high notes and stuff and the witness just heavy metal

Im all for rock music, but vocals can be distracting a lot. Unless they can enhance something like storytelling its best not to bother. One of my favorite games though that does use vocals is Metal gear rising re-vengeance. I would rather have more aggressive dialog from bosses. (One of my favorite things about rhulk) He actually talks back ! Previously, all the enemies in destiny raids have been pretty flat and one dimensional with little dialog during the fight. I would like to see them talk more. Think of how much Eremis talks during the final fight. The bosses we kill in raids feel like hollow husks.

vocals done by micky rourke .

Like Stranger Things Season 4...?

“The song of woke” by Bungie Can you imagine the lyrics? 😄
