I don’t get the hate. It’s as if everybody forgot how bad the zone control was with the lock outs and the awful bounties and quests that rewarded people for ignoring objectives. The new mode requires some tactics and communication in team play and is quite fun in freelance if you find one or two other players willing to play the objective. It”s more fun than almost anything else in Crucible, including, dare I say, the Trials. The two major problems I see are the horribly over-priced engram focusing and the triumphs requiring participation on multiple characters. Hate that even more than when the developers force me to play with weapons I don’t feel like using at the time (re champions). Sure there are the p2p net code and the non-existent match balancing to complain about, but it’s not like Iron Banner update would fix that.
